A Brief Overview As an Experienced Auto Glass Technician , you'll serve on the front line of the Safelite customer experience, bringing advanced technical expertise and a strong sense of ownership to every job. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge, along with Safelite's cutting-edge tools, training, and technology, to perform complex repairs, replacements, and recalibrations—both in-shop and through our Mobile Glass Shop services. What you will do Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service. Clean customer vehicles after every job. Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shooting and completing diagnostic testing. Proficiently operate Safelite's tools and technologies, including: True Seal, Ezi-Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required bv the Safelite Way of Fitting , work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology. Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday. Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers. Education/ Qualifications High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred Proven experience as an Auto Glass Technician (2+ years preferred) Valid state-issued driver's license any other license(s) (as required by federal, state and local laws) to operate a company vehicle.
