What You'll Do Coach associates on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, glass-handling, and safety protocols. Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend improvements for cost reduction and productivity increases to warehouse management. Receive incoming glass and supply items, logs items electronically and assist with stocking and inventory to evaluate quality and verify accuracy of location and quantity. Maintain a working knowledge of warehouse data systems and perform various tasks within the system. Provides world class customer service and partners internally to resolve associate and customer complaints in an ethical and timely manner. Assist with opening/closing of location(s) as needed. All other duties as assigned. What You'll Need Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent people, leadership, and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is a plus. Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including order pickers, forklift, and reach trucks. To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs. Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current needs of the store in partnership with Store Manager. Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize assignments for Repair Specialists and Technicians. Provide regular coaching and development that focuses on recalibrations, productivity, quality, NPS and VAPs. Create a rewarding and positive work environment that encourages the retention of associates. Identify and address any barriers to retention, including managing associate work-related concerns. OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT Business and Strategy Implementation Support the execution of annual plans for a store by partnering with the Store Manager, delegating through the team and ensuring alignment with the district direction. Quantify business outcomes (i.e. revenue, NPS, job completion rate, time to serve, wiper sales, quality, profitability, COE, associate retention and engagement). Store Operations Responsible for all aspects of the store operations and management, including but not limited to safety, facility management, inventory management, timecard management/records and process/policy compliance. Customer Experience Build a culture that prioritizes driving a great, memorable, and easy customer experience. Monitor and address all customer service metrics (e.g., NPS). Identify and remove barriers and obstacles where necessary.
