Job Summary
SafeFlow Traffic Solutions is seeking dependable and safety-focused Flaggers / Traffic Control Technicians to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing safe and efficient traffic control for roadway construction, utility work, emergency response, and special projects throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment for crews, motorists, and pedestrians.
Responsibilities
Control traffic flow through construction and work zones using stop/slow paddles, flags, signs, and other traffic control devicesSet up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control equipment including cones, barricades, signs, and arrow boardsFollow approved traffic control plans (TCPs) and company safety proceduresCommunicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and the publicMonitor work zones to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulationsAssist with lane closures, detours, and emergency traffic situationsMaintain a professional appearance and positive attitude on job sitesComplete required documentation and reports as neededQualifications
Previous flagging or traffic control experience preferred, but not requiredNC Flagger Certification preferred (training may be provided for qualified candidates)Must be at least 18 years oldValid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferredAbility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift, carry, and move traffic control equipmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsMust be dependable, punctual, and safety-orientedWork Environment
