Requirements of a SGS Plumbing Technician include:
- Full-time availability
- Available weekend and after hours on rotating schedule
- Minimum 3 years field experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Must have communication skills
- Must have valid CA driver's license
- Must be able to pass auto insurance requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- DMV driving record must be brought to interview
-Must be willing to test for COVID-19 as company requests

Responsibilities Include:
Diagnose and locate natural gas leaks using advanced leak detection equipmentRepair and replace gas piping systemsInstall and service earthquake seismic gas shut-off valvesPerform pressure testing and gas system inspectionsTroubleshoot gas appliance and gas supply issuesConduct retrofit inspections and code compliance evaluationsEducate customers on repair options and safety concernsComplete service reports and documentation accuratelyFollow all safety procedures, regulations, and company standardsDeliver a professional 5-star customer experienceQualifications
Minimum 3 years of field experience in gas service, plumbing, utility work, or related tradesStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience working with natural gas systems preferredExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in the fieldFull-time availabilityWillingness to participate in rotating weekend and after-hours on-call scheduleValid California Driver's LicenseMust meet company vehicle insurance requirementsAbility to pass pre-employment drug screeningDMV driving record required at interviewWillingness to comply with company health and safety requirementsPreferred Experience
