Job Duties & Responsibilities
Patient Care: Greet patients, take medical histories, and explain procedures.Vitals Management: Measure and record vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiration rate.Procedures: Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.Sterilization: Sterilize medical instruments and maintain exam room sanitation. Office Procedures: Schedule patient appointments, manage phone lines and faxes, check in-basket messagesRecords Management: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and patient files.Work cohesively with other back-office staff, train/shadow as neededOther duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

POSITION SUMMARY
An Oto Tech provides basic audiologic and immittance testing under the supervision of Ear Nose and Throat physicians in a medical clinic setting. This job entails working knowledge of basic audiometric and immittance testing; hands on equipment training will be provided after hire. The ideal candidate will function well in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate outstanding communication skills.
