Rystad Energy is looking for analytically driven early-career professionals to join our Americas consulting team as we expand in Houston and New York.
Our consulting engagements span a broad set of topics and client types including commercial due diligence/transaction support for investors, market assessment for emerging firms, corporate strategy development for major energy companies, and policy analysis for governments and trade organizations.

Asset valuation for downstream product terminal Market studies for high-profile energy IPOs (Fervo, Flowco) Frontier exploration benchmarking for oil and gas majors Long-term strategy for integrated US solar module manufacturer Renewable fuels adoption strategy for maritime sector Assessment of US-based methane fee and impact on upstream suppliersOur Americas consulting teams are based in Houston, Texas and New York, New York. Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day:
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute project workstreams, often using Microsoft Excel and internal Rystad products to manipulate and forecast data Prepare client-ready presentations, using Microsoft PowerPoint and additional visualization tools Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders on relevant findings, methodologies, and next steps Leverage AI to streamline workflows across data manipulation and analysisOccasional workflows:
Map geospatial information using GIS programs Build models and analyze large data sets in python Develop client-side products and market reports in collaboration with the Analysis department Support the commercial team with business development related to ongoing or previous client workYou will work on challenging assignments requiring rigorous analysis to drive insights and conclusions. As a member of project teams, you will engage closely with clients and learn and deploy knowledge quickly. You will work collaboratively on project teams, supporting clients across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors, as well as energy transition areas such as renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
Your responsibilities will include structuring and breaking down ambiguous problems, performing quantitative analysis, producing reports, and delivering recommendations, operating with urgency to deliver results within client-driven timeframes. You will work primarily at the Rystad Energy office you are based in but may travel to client sites as required.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, energy policy, etc) with 0–3 years of experience in energy, consulting, or a related field Experience using Microsoft Office for modeling and data visualization (Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Python, GIS, SQL, or other quantification and visualization software is a plus Strong quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, modeling, or engineering applications Ability to translate complex analysis into clear written deliverables, presentations, and data visualizations for clients and internal stakeholders Demonstrated interest in and understanding of energy markets, technologies, and policy Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer

The Role
Rystad Energy is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, analytical, and adaptable Marketing Manager in Rio or Houston to join our regional marketing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be tasked with supporting the development and growth of a full-scale Latin America marketing plan, including, but not limited to, account-based marketing for key accounts, lead generation efforts, and local events. You will be part of the Americas Marketing team and work very closely with the global marketing verticals, the local commercial team and other corporate teams, joining meetings and aligning with framework and best practices to understand and align strategies.
Key responsibilities
Overall responsible for developing and executing Rystad Energy’s regional marketing plans (for Latin America) and campaigns for the designated key sub-markets, and adjusting and optimizing those plans by evaluating success scoresDevelop and execute and develop the Account-Based Marketing strategy and activities for selected key accounts, as part of the Client Marketing strategy Plan and execute local events of varying sizes to align with commercial objectivesUnderstand our target market and utilize marketing tactics – whitepapers, webinars, webpages, email campaigns, broadcast, partnerships –to fill the marketing bowtie and nurture incoming leads further to sales-qualified leadsPartner with the growth marketing team to lead high-intent paid search, conversion rate optimization, lead nurturing and technical landing pages with responsibility for local posting and develop and execute multi-touch campaigns for attribution, nurturing and expansion Understand the energy market and how different changes can be incorporated into your current marketing activitiesIdentify and develop local thought leaders for enhanced content generation and community-building effortsTake part in regional commercial feedback by running surveys, interviewing Sales and gathering feedback to input into the overall regional marketing strategyIdentify and support external events and partnerships associated with sub- region’s needsSkills and attributes for success
