We are seeking a Construction (Administrative) Assistant to join our team! You will assist our construction team in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementationCoordinate with other team members, project managers, designers, and suppliers to determine project details a scope of work to be completedCorrespond with customers via email, phone or text to build a lasting relationshipOrder construction materials and schedule deliveries of materials on time to ensure all deadlines are keptCoordinate with subcontractors throughout project duration, i.e. check in with onsite personnel and subcontractorsPerform in-field inspections of construction projects as requiredFollow-up with customers during the planning process, installation process, and after the job is completed to ensure complete customer satisfactionHandle customer inquiries and complaintsProvide information about the products servicesTroubleshoot and resolve product issues and concernsDocument and update customer records based on interactionsDevelop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and servicesAssist the construction manager (superintendent) when he is in the office or fieldAnswering the phone (taking great notes to ensure we deliver exactly what the customer ask for)Writing customer quotesPost customer payments from emailUpdate inventory log once team leaves for the day (as needed) Allocate resources for assigned projectsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction or other related fields is preferred, on the job training provided as needed with office tasks and warehousePrevious experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields (preferred but not required)Ability to build rapport with clientsAbility to prioritize and multitaskBilingual (Spanish) preferred but not requiredPositive and professional demeanor and appearanceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConstruction software experience is preferred but not requiredStrong negotiation skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionRussell Pool Company is a family-owned business, founded by Roy and Betty Russell in 1965.
