    Role Overview:

    Applies electrical design knowledge, skill and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. Serves as the primary liaison responsible for coordination and communication activities between the design team and the client/customer and provides project management oversight and professional support throughout the entire construction process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provides complete management of project timelines and related design activity communication between the design team and the client/customer, accurately & timelyIn accordance with company standards, provides assistance in the preparation of accurate and complete proposals and engineering agreementsAccurately and timely produces electrical design elements consistent with project specifications in accordance with the project hours, scope & parametersProduces electrical construction documents appropriate for permitting based on project specificsProvides research design options consistent with project requirementsProduces accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parametersAccurately and consistently execute QA/QC processProvide project coordination with in house and outside sourcesProvides timely consultation on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes and standards consistent with company quality standardsActively participates in post design consultation activities and represents the company in client meetings through construction completionAssists in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalismResponsible for on-boarding and overseeing junior engineersActively mentors junior engineers and designersProvide timely billing of projects to accounting departmentFollows established work rules, policies and proceduresActively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costsCooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    4-year degree in Engineering requiredMinimum of 5 years’ experience Expert knowledge of building codes and standardsKnowledge of engineering drafting standardsKnowledge of electrical engineering standards and other tradesDemonstrable understanding of construction process and interpretation of construction drawings.Knowledge of AutoCadKnowledge of RevitGood communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    EIT and/or PE preferred

    Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $115,000.00
