    Job Description

    Performs visual inspection of printed materials for defects. Ensure products meet quality conformance specified by customer.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform “samples” selection and package for shipment.Perform visual inspection of random samples of product selected during a production run, or post production, looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out of specification.Follows inspection checklist and records any identified defects.Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.Identify potential issues and involve department Lead and/or management to determine an appropriate solution.May assist with special projects or more complex customer orders.May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.Perform other duties as assigned.
     Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED preferred2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function in a printing environment requiredRequires good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully execute and complete the duties of the job.Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain quality policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments, as well as provide a level of detail required to resolve issues.Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
     

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $16.50 - $22.00 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.

    Job Description

    The Associate - Sales position is a full-time, entry level role that offers a comprehensive four-month training program (Associate Development Program) designed to prepare you as a Sales Associate for RRD. The ADP program is designed to provide you with the necessary sales strategies, practices, and industry knowledge to ensure a successful career as a Sales Associate.

    Please note: The Associate Development Program has a required cohort start date. In Cincinnati, OH, we are currently hiring for the July 2026 cohort.

    Responsibilities:

    Understand and perform RRD's sales steps through training and observation Learn and successfully execute the arts of prospecting and cold calling to build new accountsShadow sales representatives (some travel required)Assist senior sales representatives in everyday functions such as sourcing, securing and managing business, both new and existingAttend internal and external sales meetingsMaintain relationships with existing accounts and customersBuild a sales funnel specific for your post-training assignmentContinued development opportunities through marketing and sales publications to increase your understanding of the sales industryPerform other related duties and participate in special projects as assignedQualifications

    Bachelor's degree (Preferred) in sales, marketing, business, communications, packaging, economics, or related fields with an interest in salesExcellent listening skills to understand customer needsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHigh motivation to learn Make data-driven decisions and explain the return on investments to customersAbility to make decisions and solve problemsDriven, and motivated to succeed in the sales fieldPrior experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) (Preferred)Sales internship or experience sellingRequire reliable transportation method to get to and from clients within the designated territory

    Additional Information

    The national pay range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
