    PART-TIME ADMIN SECRETARY – LAPEER THE COMPANY ROWE Professional Services Company is an employee-owned, full-service professional consulting firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, aerial photography/mapping, LiDAR, landscape architecture, planning, and land development. At ROWE, our core values include safety, quality, people, service, and growth. We are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Secretary to support office in Lapeer, MI. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who values schedule flexibility and thrives in a professional setting. The position requires at least 16 hours per week but can accommodate up to 24 hours per week. The preferred minimum schedule is two 8-hour days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, although the role will offer flexibility based on candidate’s needs. POSITION SUMMARY In this role, you will join a six-person admin team that supports a staff of 275 professionals across all eight ROWE locations. Primary responsibilities include reviewing, editing, and formatting technical documents; entering detailed data; preparing reports and presentations; and drafting routine correspondence. Additional responsibilities include: Provide reception support, including greeting guests and clients, answering a multi-line phone system, processing mail, and coordinating UPS shipments. Handle production-related administrative tasks such as copying, binding, and filing. Maintain inventory for office and kitchen supplies. Provide intake support to survey clients and perform follow—up activities for Survey PMs. Coordinate conference rooms, schedule meetings, and assist with all luncheons and company-sponsored events. POSITION SUMMARY ROWE is currently looking for a Roadway Senior Project Engineer to join our team. Senior Project Engineers work on teams with Project Managers, working in a group environment on a diverse range of projects, providing creative leadership to a wide range of staff with varied experience This position will play a big role in growing our Design Services Division team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Function as task leader on various transportation engineering projects. Directing and performing engineering tasks, providing quality control, and production of project deliverables, primarily for State and County transportation clients. Managing project teams, schedules, and budgets for various projects. Assist in developing and executing work plans for completing assigned tasks and projects. Apply specialized technical expertise on a broad range of design tasks relating to transportation projects. Assist the Senior Project Manager, or Project Manager, in developing work scopes, budgets, and staff assignments. Maintain project records and documentation. Maintain current knowledge of MDOT design technology, practices, and procedures. Interact with other engineering disciplines (internal and external) and incorporate their work products. Provide direction, supervision, and training to junior staff. JOB REQUIREMENTS We are seeking forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Michigan Professional Engineer License. Minimum of 10 years of MDOT design experience. Expert in MicroStation and OpenRoads. Strong understand of MDOT schedules, procedures and design requirements Experience on freeway and non-freeway road design, including interchanges Experience developing MOT plans, signing and pavement marking MDOT plans a plus Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities, and ability to work independently or on a team.
