We are hiringregular full time and part time FedEx Delivery driverswith work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries.(CDL License Not required) If you have been a Local Driver, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick Up Drivers, Delivery drivers - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies that is a plus; and we have a job waiting for you as we are hiring urgently and immediately.
If you meet these qualifications, it makes the onboarding process faster:Have a minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience in the last 3 years or 5 years experience in the last 10 years.Must be able to verify that experience, include qualifying experience on your resume or profile.Operations are 7 days a week and you will be required to work Sunday (full time employees work 5 days a week). Drivers load packages in their designated route onto a truck every morning and then deliver them, start around 7AM and finish usually before 5PM.
Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving recordPass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employmentPass a DOT physicalBe able to safely lift/carry up to 90 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truckPass FedEx Ground criminal background checkHave reliable transportation to and from work - Be on time and ready to work each workdayBe able to climb stairsBe able to work in all types of weatherHave a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Daily Duties include but not limited to:Your vehicle must be operated safely at all timesDelivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a dayPerform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levelsLoading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loadsWork independently and as part of a teamProvide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with managerAccurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery processAccurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
