    About the Role

    As a Restoration Project Estimator, you'll respond to residential and commercial water damage losses, evaluate project needs, prepare accurate estimates, and serve as the customer's primary point of contact throughout the sales process. You'll work closely with technicians, office staff, insurance professionals, and property owners to ensure projects move forward efficiently while providing an outstanding customer experience.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people just as much as solving problems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inspect residential and commercial properties following water damage

    Develop accurate restoration estimates and explain recommended services

    Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and business owners

    Coordinate project details with office staff and restoration technicians

    Maintain project documentation, photos, and customer records

    Follow up on estimates and help convert opportunities into completed restoration projects

    Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process

    What You'll Do

    As the Residential Plumbing Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily performance of the plumbing department while ensuring technicians have the support, coaching, and resources needed to deliver exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with dispatch, customer service representatives, field technicians, and company leadership to maximize scheduling efficiency, technician productivity, and overall department performance.

    You'll conduct ride-alongs, provide coaching and performance feedback, review completed work for quality and consistency, and help technicians improve both their technical abilities and customer communication skills. You'll monitor key performance indicators, analyze department performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

    You'll also assist with staffing, hiring, onboarding, technician development, budgeting, inventory management, fleet oversight, vendor relationships, warranty coordination, purchasing, and operational planning. When customer concerns arise, you'll work directly with homeowners to resolve issues professionally while maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional service.

    What We're Looking For

    We're seeking an experienced plumbing professional with at least five years of industry experience and previous leadership responsibilities overseeing plumbing technicians or service teams. Candidates should have a strong understanding of residential plumbing service operations, technician development, customer service, and department management.

    Successful candidates will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate teams, improve operational performance, and hold employees accountable while creating a positive work environment. Experience managing departmental budgets, reviewing performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and driving profitability is highly preferred.
