    YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

    The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Senior Estimator is the Lead Estimator for projects and works with other Estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete the estimate.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Prepare estimate from quantity take-off on project and complete estimate to computer printout.

    Identify parts of project that may be key to making a competitive estimate.

    Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

    Evaluate areas for potential value engineering cost savings.

    Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates for assigned bids.

    Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.

    Develop labor productivity and (installation unit costs where applicable) based on projected site conditions and historical data.

    Prepare detailed listing of material and equipment items for the estimate and to obtain quotes.

    Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and be responsible for soliciting quotes. Review quotes for completeness and conformance with plans and specs.

    Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents.

    Draft scope/proposal letters for bid and negotiated projects.

    Prior to the issuing of the formal bid package, provide the Chief Estimator with a detailed review of scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package.

    After the successful bid at project turnover, meet with the Project Management departments to fully explain job scope, potential areas of attention and other aspects for the successful transition of the project.

    Maintain files of all working documents to back-up estimate figures and update the Rosendin approved estimating program.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    Read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings

    Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating

    Estimate all types of projects and to coordinate and supervise group work effort essential

    Mentor and assist with the development of Estimators

    Identify and meet customers' needs, expectations, and requirements

    Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

    Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and change priorities as necessary

    Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

    Oral and written communication skills as required for the position

    Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

    Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

    WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

    Minimum 4 years' estimating or other relevant experience in closing constructions estimates

    Experience in Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam software preferred

    Experience in CAD or 3D software preferred

    Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience

    TRAVEL:

    Up to 10%

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

    YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

    The Foreman is responsible for monitoring installations and ensuring work is performed according to Rosendin standards and project specifications. Work cooperatively with the general contractor and/or customer in managing the project, project schedule and employees. Responsible for maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials and any other activities impacting the successful completion of the project.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Achieve Rosendin productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining an accurate labor tracking log.Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching those objectives on an ongoing basis.Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures.Adhere to project contract document changes and Rosendin change order notice-to-proceed policies.Fully utilize a prefabrication facility and company-wide installation methods and policies.Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work.Provide General Foreman with sufficient notice of any crew changes.Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues. Ensure crew members start and finish work shift on time; Maintain proper meal/break times per as legally required per local labor laws and regulations.Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members. Maintain complete and accurate ”as-builts” as per Rosendin procedures and project requirements.Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew members, etc.Ensure all work performed meets with NEC, federal, state, county, local codes and contract documents.Adhere to all Rosendin, state and federal safety policies and procedures.

    The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.

    Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.

    Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.

    Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.

    Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.

    Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.

    Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.

    Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.

    Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.

    Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.

    Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.

    Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.

    Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.

    The Estimator II is a mid-level professional responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator II solves a range of straightforward problems and assembles construction costs by collecting and studying information, evaluating bid specifications and drawings, to ensure they understand what is required to bid on and win the project successfully, and can present the project cost to Senior leadership. With moderate guidance and direction, the Estimator II provides overall support for small- to medium-sized projects, assisted by a senior-level estimator.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and requirements.

    Prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work and entering them into the computer estimating system; review the estimate printout for accuracy and completeness.

    Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness according to plans and specifications.

    Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages, including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools, and supplies.

    Provide guidance to personnel preparing the completion matrix discipline for assigned bids.

    In conjunction with Senior Estimators, develop labor productivity and (installation unit costs where applicable) based on projected site conditions and historical data.

    Compile and execute the scope of work, address technical requirements and pricing, then present them to the Lead Estimator, Estimating Manager, and/or Chief Estimator for the estimated bid package.

    After the successful bid, at project turnover, meet with the project management team along with the senior-level estimator to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes, and offer aspects for the successful transition of the project.

    Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents.

    Prepare scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.

    Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimating assumptions and methodologies.
