    YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

    The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.

    Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.

    Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.

    Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.

    Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.

    Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.

    Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.

    Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.

    Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.

    Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.

    Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.

    Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.

    Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    TRAVEL:

    General work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.     The Estimator I is a salaried, entry-level position that assists in preparing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator I has limited discretion to vary from established procedures when assembling construction costs by collecting and studying information to learn how to bid on a project. The Estimator I works under general supervision and provides overall support for several small to medium projects.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

    Receives instructions from senior-level estimators to review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and requirements.

    Using established procedures to prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work and entering them into the computer estimating system; review the estimate printout for accuracy and completeness.

    Work with existing suppliers and subcontractors to solicit quotes and review quotes for completeness in relation to plans and specifications.

    Work with senior-level estimators to provide the Lead Estimator,Estimating Manager, and/or Chief Estimator a detailed review of the scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package.

    Contributes to the timely completion of all client-required documents.

    Using existing templates to draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.

    Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimating assumptions and methodologies.

    The BIM Manager is part of the Corporate BIM team, and is responsible for the management & production of the building electrical BIM models and field/shop drawings, the BIM content for the building electrical systems, and the BIM coordination process.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Oversee the process of virtual construction and design documentation.

    Manage a team of modelers and coordinators by coaching, mentoring, and supervising.

    Ensure compliance with Corporate BIM Program and Processes.

    Coordinate with professional staff on reviewing models and comments.

    Develop electrical building models from basic sketches, 2D drawings and verbal instructions, utilizing Revit MEP/AutoCAD MEP tools.

    Resolve conflicts with other disciplines and trades using NavisWorks while adhering and improving primary electrical system design.

    Produce drawings/models consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD/BIM standards.

    Modify incoming CAD/BIM files for use in design/detailing process (clean-up, audit, reference and troubleshoot).

    Prepare 3D electrical system layouts for the Underground Coordination and Above the Ceiling Coordination.

    Prepare 3D seismic support model for all electrical systems.

    Produce MEP Coordination Drawings and Electrical Shop Drawings extracting data directly from the 3D electrical model.

    Attend and actively participate in coordination meetings with other MEP trades.

    Utilize CAD Scheduling and Takeoffs for pre-fabrication.

    Use the Revit family editor/AutoCAD Content Manager to build BIM content for electrical system components as needed.

    Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule and resources necessary to successfully complete a project.Prepare a complete VDC support estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications and bid form.Bid, Contract, and manage third-party vendors in conjunction with project teams to support BIM deliverables as required based on Internal Bim team resource workload capacity.Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive or Division Manager.Manage and oversee Local project BIM teams consisting of but not limited to, Modelers, coordinators and BIM managers in the execution of BIM deliverables through coaching, mentoring and supervising.Hire and train new BIM support members for project teams.Support teams in project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.Assist in developing and enforcing, BIM documentation, workflow, and processes required in conjunction with the projects contractual deliverables.Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite team to ensure BIM project Deliverables are being supported and delivered on schedule, and within budget.Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines, and under supervision.Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM, project executive or Division Manager.Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client and Project teams.Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit MEP and BIM.Stay informed on other BIM related software and how they work with RevitThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.     WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and proceduresManagement and leadership skills in conjunction to the company core values.Working knowledge of the most current modeling applications software in use by REI, including being able to create and manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters and similar Revit functions (SR Position - Basic knowledge and understanding of) Complete understanding of REI BIM processes and procedures, including workflow processes and passing Rosendin assessment scoreUnderstanding of 3D coordination with other trades.Receive and transmit documents on behalf of the design team, either via posting to website or the Internet or via hardcopyMinimum Rosendin Revit assessment score of 50%Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Accubid and Oracle preferredPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessaryWork under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitudeOral and written communication skills as required for the positionSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team playerInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

    WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related disciplineMinimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry in a Project Management or Leadership role.Minimum 10 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical systems and 3D virtual design systems and standardsCan be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience
