    What you'll be doing

    Reporting to the COO, the General Manager oversee all sales and operations in the local satellite office. This position will ensure the streamlining of communications, time management and delivery at all levels, both internal and external. The General Manager will improve sales methods and procedures and implement and maintain/improve service quality and output. The position will also coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

    You will be responsible for...

    Oversee daily operations of the branch including sales, project management and field operations. Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business based on corporate's goals and expectations.Coordinate the development of key performance goals, functions, and direct reports.Provide direct management of Directors in each local branch.Ensure the health of the branch by using comparative P&L 's year over year.Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the branch's offerings to customers.Engage in key or targeted customer activities.Oversee key hiring and talent development programs.Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.Communicate strategy and results to the branch Directors and employees.Report key results to corporate officers.Engage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning including real estate, M&A and marketing.Engage in budgeting and Cap Ex strategic buying.



    What skills & experience you'll bring to us

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Knowledgeable in and proven abilities with estimating in a paving, landscaping or construction type environment viewed as a plus

    Ten years sales experience in a construction environment or to the facilities/operations market is a plus

    Must demonstrate competency in interpreting and applying complex estimating guidelines

    Excellent math and geometry skills

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    What youll be doing

    The primary purpose is to plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of asphalt pavement. The Project Manager will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation so that a project can be completed on time and within a budget.

    What you'll be doing

    We are looking for a dependable and experienced Class A Lowboy Driver to safely transport heavy construction equipment and machinery to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer. The ideal candidate must have a current CDL Class A license with experience operating and securing oversized loads, including excavators, dozers, pavers, and other heavy equipment.

    You will be responsible for...

    Operate a lowboy truck and trailer to transport heavy equipment to job sites across designated areas.

    Inspect vehicles and loads to ensure they meet DOT and company safety regulations.

    Load and unload equipment using ramps, winches, or hydraulic systems.

    Properly secure loads using chains, binders, and other tie-down equipment.

    Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.

    Summary

    Currently seeking an experienced Class A Lowboy Driver

    Main responsibilities:

    Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations when traveling out of state.Maintain all paperwork.Maintain constant contact with Foreman to receive pickup and/or delivery instructions, and keep them informed of any safety issues.Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water to ensure road worthiness.Must have knowledge and conduct maintenance of single and multi-rear axle trucks meeting the requirement for Virginia Commercial Driver's Licensing to include general knowledge of laws and regulations.Perform Pre-trip inspections (correctly complete driver's log book) on vehicle and be able to explain what one inspects and why.Maneuver and control the vehicle in a safe fashion, which includes handling the vehicle on-site and in over the road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speed to road conditions and the ability to drive daytime or nighttime.Safely load and unload all equipment/materials over all terrains, and properly secure loads.Responsible for routing fueling, lubricating, and basic servicing of vehicle Must understand air brakes system if the vehicle is equipped with the systemWhen not driving, will be directed by shop foreman on tasks that need to be completed around shop or yard.May need to occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs.Must be able to perform all of the above job functions in a safe manner in order to avoid personal injury and equipment damage.Must be open to some labor work when not operating a vehicle and be able to assist ground crews on daily tasks

    Qualifications:

    Must have a current and valid Commercial Driver's License High School diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.
