    Responsibilities


    Process and track move-in applications, ensuring all files are reviewed, verified, and approved within 3-5 business days of submission.

    Process and track annual recertifications, ensuring all files are reviewed, verified and approved within 30 days of the annual recertification effective date.

    Collect, verify, and input applicant income, asset, and household information in compliance with program guidelines.

    Ensure move-in files are complete, accurate, and ready for compliance review and approval prior to lease signing.

    Communicate directly with applicants, residents and site teams to request missing or clarifying documentation.

    Partner with property management staff to support timely move-ins and occupancy goals.

    Maintain accurate and organized records in property management and compliance systems.

    Track application status and provide regular updates to Compliance Leadership, property staff, and regional managers.

    Assist in preparing move-in files for investor, state agency, or internal audits.

    Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of required annual compliance reports, as assigned.

    Collaborate with senior compliance and managers to resolve deficiencies quickly and maintain compliance standards.

    Provide guidance to site teams on program requirements and compliance processes as needed.

    Take on additional projects and duties as assigned to meet business needs.

    Requirements:

    Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple certifications simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

    Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with applicants, residents, and colleagues.

    Experience with property management or compliance software preferred (e.g., Yardi, Rent Café).

    Prior affordable housing or compliance experience is highly preferred; however, we will train candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

    Compensation and Benefits for Compliance Specialist:


    Pay Range: $47,800 - $62,900

    Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual's experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.

    As a Construction Assistant Project Manager, you play a vital role in assisting the construction team by coordinating and helping to manage all pre-construction and construction related activities related to all applicable projects assigned.

    Working Conditions

    Due to the nature of the construction industry, working conditions may vary based on project location and project team needs. It is Roers Companies intent to provide the most common working conditions for each job position, however, can be subject to change.


    Location:

    The Assistant Project Manager will be exposed to the current weather and site conditions on each of their assigned project sites as well as a typical office environment. It is the responsibility of the Assistant Project Manager to properly prepare for the specific working environment conditions that will be required of them each day. The Assistant Project Manager will participate in company meetings and gatherings at the corporate offices, as well as meetings conducted on project site locations.


    Site Conditions:

    Roers Companies treats the safety of its staff and subcontractors with the highest importance.     Responsibilities

    As a Maintenance Technician, you help residents feel safe, comfortable, and happy with their homes. In a given day, your tasks may include:

    General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied apartment units.Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.Snow removalRegular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents.On-call rotation; responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekendsOther duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED.2+ years property maintenance experience (apartment maintenance experience preferred).2+ years customer service experience preferred.Provide own hand tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, drill, hammer, hacksaw, sockets, level, bits, tape measure, utility knife, flashlight and Allen wrench set.Local market experience preferred.Ability to work independently.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work weekend and evening on-call schedule in addition to regular Monday Friday schedule.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people.Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and property needs.Entrepreneurial mindset loves to be challenged, determined to win, puts clients and teammates first, collaborative, inquisitive, self-motivated, and operates on trust (not fear).High integrity trusted, direct, truthful.     Compensation and Benefits for Maintenance Technician:


    Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.50 /hr + Eligibility for competitive monthly commission for renewals

    Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individuals experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
