We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. The Receptionist is actively involved in all areas of the company. She/he needs to have a full understanding of what is occurring in the day-to-day operations of the company to assist clients, subcontractors/suppliers, and service employees that daily are in contact with the company. It is extremely important that the receptionist be aware that she/he is the first point of contact for our company and therefore needs to present a good impression and interact with people in a friendly business-like manner. At all times the receptionist needs to be aware that there is only one time to make a first impression.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to (these duties may change with business practices):
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate person in the office, voice mail, or the proper job site.
- Greet people (clients, employees, subcontractors/suppliers) as they come into the office.
- Place outgoing calls as requested or required.
- Provide mail services including sorting, opening, date stamping, and logging of outgoing/incoming mail
- Process packages; distribute and send (US Mail, UPS, Federal Express, local, overnight delivery service)
- Filing and making files.
- Assist in New Hire Orientations.
- Miscellaneous clerical documentation.
- Maintain office equipment in the front lobby.
- Order office supplies.
- Print JIP’s weekly.
- Assist Departments on special projects as needed.
- Send and receive faxes.
- Type memos, letters, transmittals, and listings as backup and may organize / alphabetize filing.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
- Manage conference rooms calendars.
- Keep front office, reception area, and conference rooms presentable.
- Attend required meetings.
-Maintain USA Ticket processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five years performing Reception and clerical duties.
- Computer literate in Microsoft programs
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time
- Develop and maintain effective communication with all employees.
- Ability to operate a multiple line telephone system to relay incoming calls.
- Data Entry, Recordkeeping, Filing, Multi-tasking experience is required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in the construction industry, a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.

Job Description:
Robert A. Bothman Construction is growing and expanding and is looking to hire a “Site Superintendent” that will oversee all phases of a construction project as it relates to Sport Field Construction, Site and Civil operations, Structural and Site Concrete Placement, Underground Utility Installation, and Self-Perform. The Site Superintendent is responsible for providing supervision and/or coordination for the work of all in-house and sub-contractor trades personnel on designated site work projects.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop & implement project site safety plans & conduct onsite safety tailgate meetings.Evaluate performance of on-site trades personnel & initiate on-site training or recommend employee for designated off-site training programs according to demonstrated needs.Coordinate fieldwork with Project Management and alert them to any troublesome conditions or project delays.Communicate project equipment requirements with General Superintendent and P.M.Prepare and submit weekly job reports, daily extra work reports, safety tailgate meeting reports, accident reports, weekly project, 2-week look ahead schedules, and all other company and regulatory agency required documentation, and keep records.Participate with and assist the P.M. in developing the master project schedule.Schedule all project in-house labor and equipment resources.Calculate quantities, order designated jobsite materials, and coordinate all deliveries.Attend company, job site, and foremen meetings and training seminars.Review & interpret job-site plans & specifications. Report inconsistencies/discrepancies to P.M., recommend changes & provide additional details needed for proper construction.Review and clarify plans and specifications to trade personnel.Meet with Owner’s Representatives/Building Officials for proper completions and inspection of site work trade work.Inspect designated work sites to ensure compliance with company safety and quality control standards and requirements.Study weekly labor reports & JIP reports to ensure project stays within budget.Communicate scheduling changes to field personnel.Furnish and maintain trade tools and always have them available for use.Communicate daily with designated scheduling personnel regarding job location.Assist in maintenance efforts for and prevent abuse of all company equipment. Report misuse/abuse to immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum ten years site work construction experience, with emphasis on heavy civil experience, park building experience, and/or sports and recreation, athletics experience.Minimum five years construction supervisory experience.CPR, competent person (trench safety, and fall protection), power actuated tool, and forklift training.Bilingual – English and Spanish a plus.Ability to read and analyze construction plans and specifications.High school diploma or GED certificate.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Description:
To assist in the administration and coordination of all assigned project activities, originate and prepare necessary technical contract data, and maintain accurate records of work and schedules. Facilitate the project's ability to increase profit margins. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
▪ Manage small to medium projects and contracts
▪ Support Project Manager, Project Foreman with project set-up and support field management personnel.
▪ Assist with material purchasing under the direction of the Project Manager and Project Foreman. Organizeand assist with material d deliveries.
▪ Develop project schedules and update on a regular basis.
▪ Prepare and review all correspondence distributions.
▪ Prepare and organize project system on LAN System.
▪ Under supervision of the Project Manager, assist with the preparation of subcontracts. Review and understand scope of work for each s subcontractor performing work.
▪ Review, prepare, log, and track submittals, shop drawings, material samples, subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, RFI’s, and cost proposals. Post all project documentation change and RFI’s. Distribute to appropriate parties.
▪ Manage and analyze change order pricing needs.
▪ Attend related project meetings when necessary. Prepare meeting minutes and distributions.
▪ Prepare and take full ownership of all project close-out documents. Prepare all warranty documents, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
▪ BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
▪ Three to five years prior experience in the construction industry.
▪ Structural Concrete experience a plus.
▪ Computer literacy and proficiency with Word and Excel.
▪ Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Projects.
▪ Experience in scheduling with Microsoft Projects and Primavera & Timberline Project Module.
▪ Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
▪ Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction

We are seeking an experienced Take-off Engineer to perform miscellaneous estimating duties to assist estimating staff in preparation of project estimates.
Responsibilities:
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform quantity take-offs and manage scope and statements.Attend estimating meetings.Assist with affirmative action good faith efforts as required.Make phone calls as required to obtain bidding status of Primes and subcontractors prior to bid day.Meet with project owners and/or Senior Estimators to review job conditions for private estimates.Solicit sub-contractor and material pricing and copy/send bid information as required.Assist staff in determining equipment needs, solicit pricing, and calculating labor estimates.Attend pre-bid meetings.Assist in review of subcontractor quotes prior to bid.Assist Coordinator with bid day preparation, delivering bids, and posting bid results and communicating results to subcontractors as necessary.Assist with sub-contractor and supplier database management.Assist with updating material and subcontractor sources.Attend in-house pre-construction meetings, seminars, and training programs.Enhance relationships with customers and manufacturer-suppliersMaintain effective communications with internal & external customers.Preferred Qualifications
