    The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for communicating with all people involved in a project including owners, vendors, subcontractors, and the design team. The Assistant Project Manager will review plans and drawings, prepare estimates according to budget, hold and attend meetings and set and oversee construction schedules.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendents in all aspects of a projectUpdate construction documents, review and submit submittals and RFIs, maintain logsWrite scopes of work for subcontracts and purchase orders, change orders and change order requestsAttend onsite project meetings and record meeting minutes for project team and ownersProduce closeout manuals for user groups and/or ownersCreate and maintain schedules and phasing plans during the course of the projectCreate and maintain material and delivery logsUpdate construction schedules with input from Project Management and SuperintendentsChange management review and processing

    Professional Qualities

    Professional communication skills and technical writing abilitiesAbility conduct self in professional manner with others including owner, architects and subcontractorsHigh level of organization and planning abilities and excellent at multitasking

    Position Requirements

    Job Description

    The Superintendent specializes in representing Robbins Construction Group for on-site supervision, administration, and coordination of a construction project.

    Responsibilities

    Continuously maintain a positive working relationship with clients, architects, subcontractors, city officials, and neighboring businessesDevelop lasting relationships with clients, architects, and vendors that enable future planning and supports continuous growthA primary point of contact at the jobsite to work directly with City, State, and Government officials, inspectors, and representativesProvide training and support to local subcontractors in Multifamily quality best practicesCoordinate site expectations/plans with on-site support team prior to home weekendsEnsure a healthy and safe work environment: actively participate and lead safety meetings and successfully complete annual safety trainingAuthority to enforce jobsite safetyMaintain a keen eye on day-to-day project operations while focusing on the project's Critical PathWork directly with the project team on the overall job scheduleFiscally responsible for efficiently utilizing labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other related resources.Authority to manage on-site requirements for SWPPP, Insurance, and OSHA programs

    Qualifications

    Construction Management and/or Engineering Degree or related field experienceAbility to immerse yourself in diverse cultures and experiencesAccountable with and high sense of responsibility with a proven track recordFamiliar with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts and subcontractsConstruction Management Software: Excel or related scheduling software, Procore, or similar project management software.Maintain a positive attitude, get along well with others, and be a team playerClient focus and awareness of client/end-user cares and needsAbility to prioritize, yet flexibleStrong work ethicResourcefulness and overcoming of reasonable obstaclesProfessional composure and demonstrated integrity

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
