    Position Purpose:

    Overhead 1st class is a experienced position in the construction and maintenance of electrical overhead distribution systems. You will work at multiple locations and may also require travel to another state, depending on customer demands.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman.Strings overhead wire.Set poles and anchors.Install transformers, lightening arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear.Troubleshoot trouble in primary and secondary systems.Replace cutout fuses and clear faulted circuits and systems.Frequently work with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.Perform rigorous physical labor.Can identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit.Must be familiar with induced voltage.Understand grounding procedures.Work at heights or confined spaces.Install and remove PPE and cover up.Must be able to climb different types of structures (wood, steel) and have the necessary tools to do so.Must understand how to phase out a line using phasing sticks.Plan safe work based on a job print or work order.Understand how to obtain a one shot on a recloser.Can conduct a pre-job or tailgate briefing.Can safely perform a reconductoring job.Safely install and remove mechanical jumpers.Understand how to use a load bust tool.Does all other related work to complete the job.Can work outside, frequently in inclement weather conditions.

    Set and remove all types of poles ranging from 10 feet to 45 feet tall.

    Understand 811 miss utility dig ticket.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Contract Administration:Provide support as needed in the preparation of bids for contract opportunities.Maintain understanding of contract terms and conditions to be knowledgeable or requirements. Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements.Maintain and update contract management systems for each vendor, including internal Monday.com boards.Set up initial contract records.Gather and submit required documentation to support invoicing processesCollaboration with Field and Operations Teams:Provide information or participate in Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings as required, to review job progress, billing plans, and project timelines.Complete all data inputs in appropriate systems. Monitor any information gathered from field and leadership teams including work orders, rates, production estimates, and timesheets for timely submission.     Job Title: Fleet Support

    Reports To: Fleet Manager

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

    Position Purpose:

    Assist the Fleet and Operations team with duties in an assistant environment from taking care of the yard and property and equipment to keep the Mechanics from getting sidetracked and pulled off of large tasks for simple jobs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Straighten up and organize yard, parts, and material storage areas including taking out Trash and Cleaning and washing trucks and equipment Assist Fleet team when an extra set of hands are needs (sometimes out in the Field) Make road trips to pick up and Deliver parts and equipment as needed Help load tools and material on truck as needed Assist with loading and unloading heavy equipment as needed Drive Executive VP to Worksites as needed

    Physical Aspects:

    While performing the duties of this job, team-members are regularly required to talk or listen. The team-member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; and reach with hands and arms. The team-member is frequently required to perform rigorous physical labor; sit; climb different types of structures (wood, steel, etc.); or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch or crawl. Team-members frequently lift or move up to or in-excess of 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, team-members may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Team-members are occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Powerline construction work is performed outside and is subject to diverse weather conditions.

    Required Qualifications:

    Occasionally lift items sometimes more than 75 lbs. Understand and be able to safely operate a forklift Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record Ability to work on adverse conditions (heat, cold, rain)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Commercial Driver’s License preferred or the ability to obtain one within 90 days

    The Overhead Streetlight Technician performs skilled electrical work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of energized Street Light work. Duties include but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, installing and removing overhead streetlight heads, bulbs, and photocells.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Works safely while performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work Comprehend and read land maps or work orders.
