About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Fargo, ND facility. This is a people-first leadership role responsible for driving production performance, developing a high-performing team, and building a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The right candidate leads from the floor, knows their people by name, and holds themselves to the same standard they hold their team.
What You'll Do
Operations Leadership
Lead all aspects of daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety, and cost targetsDrive continuous improvement across all production lines using lean manufacturing principlesDevelop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand and business goalsEnsure equipment reliability through proactive maintenance planning and executionPartner with supply chain to maintain material flow and manage inventory levels effectivelyPeople and Culture
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing production teamBuild a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning on the plant floorConduct regular performance conversations and provide meaningful coaching and feedbackDevelop supervisors and team leads to grow their leadership capabilitiesFoster an environment where employees feel heard, respected, and invested in the operation's successSafety and Quality
Champion a zero-incident safety culture — lead safety observations, investigations, and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standardsOwn the quality management system at the plant level; drive root cause analysis and corrective actionPartner with the quality team to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction targetsFinancial Accountability
Manage plant-level budget including labor, materials, overhead, and capitalIdentify and execute cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or safetyReport on plant KPIs weekly and monthly to senior leadership with clear analysis and action plansPartner with finance on budget management and forecast accuracy
What We're Looking For
5 or more years of plant or operations management experience in a manufacturing environmentProven track record building and developing high-performing production teamsStrong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellenceExperience managing a plant budget and driving cost reductionERP system experience requiredBilingual in English and Spanish a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skills — equally effective on the floor and in the boardroomServant leadership orientation with high emotional intelligenceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
