Key Responsibilities Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment Prepare apartments for new residents by completing high-quality apartment turns Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation Accurately document completed work orders and communicate with residents regarding repairs Maintain maintenance inventory, equipment, and shop organization Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies Work closely with the property management team to deliver an outstanding resident experience What Success Looks Like Service requests are completed promptly and correctly Apartment homes are move-in ready when promised Preventative maintenance minimizes unexpected repairs Residents receive friendly, professional service The community remains clean, safe, and well maintained throughout the year Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation This Position May Be a Fit If You Enjoy troubleshooting and fixing problems the right way Take ownership of your work and pay attention to the details Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different Understand that great maintenance creates great resident experiences Want to build your career with a company that values quality, teamwork, and growth About RISE RISE is a national leader in real estate development, construction, and property management.
