About the role Customer Support is a major differentiator for Rippling - you can tell based on the review sites and our public support status page. We are looking for an experienced support leader to join our team and take on direct responsibility of an emerging area for our business - our non-US payroll product and the related international support experience. You will own the customer experience in your product area(s) by planning for and building a team, analyzing KPIs and implementing process improvements to drive team performance, coaching and developing a team of managers, and liaising directly with Product and Engineering counterparts - all with the added complexity of doing this for non-US countries (i.e. Canada, UK, Australia). What you will do Scale a 40 person team up to 70, with a global footprint Develop and implement a hiring strategy and design the onboarding program for new joiners with regional payroll expertise Identify sticking points and implement scalable solutions (training, processes, etc) to achieve higher performance levels Own team performance and KPIs and drive improvements with data-driven experimentation Be the subject matter expert for support practices and a resource to cross functional teams Collaborate with support leadership to refine and adapt operating processes and procedures Deliver product feedback to Product / Engineering counterparts to reduce the inbound contact rate or resolution time on support interactions Communicate effectively with executive leadership on projects, priorities, and goals What you will need You have 12+ years of professional experience leading a Support team within a fast-paced environment, startup, or SaaS organization Deep understanding of systems and operations with B2B products - specifically in HR and Payroll but other more technical product areas may be sufficient. About the role We are seeking an experienced, business‑minded attorney to join our legal team as Lead Corporate Counsel. This is a hybrid role spanning both corporate matters and commercial contracting to support Rippling’s rapidly growing needs as we scale globally, mature our governance processes, and continue to close increasingly complex commercial deals. You will partner closely with Finance, Equity, Investor Relations, Business and Corporate Development, and Sales to help guide the company through continued growth and operational complexity. The ideal candidate is a versatile attorney with strong drafting and negotiation skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced environment. What you will do Corporate Draft and support preparation of Board of Directors and committee materials, including resolutions, minutes, and corporate governance policies Advise on corporate structuring, subsidiary management, and compliance with global governance and reporting requirements Support equity administration, including advising on equity plans, employee communications, and securities compliance Review and advise internal stakeholders on investor presentations, financing documentation, offering materials, and other public announcements Advise and assist on strategic transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on post‑transaction matters Commercial Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS agreements, strategic partnerships, channel and reseller arrangements, and customer negotiations Provide practical legal guidance on commercial strategy, risk allocation, product enablement, and cross‑functional go‑to‑market initiatives Develop and refine commercial tools such as templates, playbooks, positioning guidance, and operational processes to drive efficiency and consistency What you will need 6+ years of combined legal experience, including at a law firm Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) Experience advising on corporate legal issues; prior commercial experience is helpful but not required Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership mentality, and comfort operating in a highly dynamic, fast‑scaling environment Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills with good attention to detail Collaborative, low‑ego working style and ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships Sense of humor About the team Rippling’s Corporate Commercial Legal Team is a business‑driven group of attorneys and legal professionals who support the company’s global growth.
