    Role: Land Coordinator (Temporary)

    Responsibilities:

    Assist land department in management of active drilling programConduct title reviews and analysis of DSUsSupport landmen with WOGCC spacing/pooling applications, exhibits, and notice listsDraft election letters and track partner electionsDrafting of Communitization Agreements and managing approval process with BLMReview of title opinions and necessary curative requirementsAssisting in title research and organization for active buy areasDrafting of agreements, assignments, and exhibitsLimited negotiations in working interest acquisitions and new oil and gas leasesProcessing of closing documents, issuing payments, and transmittal to Land Admin

    Other responsibilities for land department:

    Maintenance and creation of notice lists and address listsReview of county records on a regular basis and inform team on competitor activityRegular review and update of notices received, monthly WOGCC docketSpecial projects include title reconciliations and non-operated propertiesMailing, invoice coding, and handling all administrative requestsCross-function communication with technical and management teams

    Experience and Education:

    Land professional with 3-5 years of in-house or broker O&G experienceBachelor’s Degree: Energy Management or AAPL accredited landman program preferredPreference to exposure to working Rockies assets and Federal Lands (MT, ND, WY, CO or UT)Must have experience in title, leasing and acquisitions, and subsurface rigline activityRL or RPL designation preferred

    Skills:

    Proven success with asset development and multiple wells drilled yearlyRequires excellent title review and title curative skillsRequires excellent communication and negotiation skillsProficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    Compensation: $35/hr to $45/hr (W2)

    Duration: 6 months with option to extend

    Location: Denver, CO
