A typical day as a caregiver: Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. This could include (but is not limited to): Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the trash/recycling Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair) Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving) Provide Companionship to your client (running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store, or just to get some fresh air). Caregiver Requirements: Have a valid driver's license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation 18 years old minimum. Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care. Able to lift 10-50/lb.
