    Description:Job Summary:The Master Mechanic will perform repair work and maintenance for tractors, trailers and other motor vehicles.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Consults with driver to collect information on vehicle history, problem with the vehicle, and/or known maintenance or repairs required.Identifies mechanical problems visually and/or with computer diagnostic equipment.Performs tests on specific parts and systems to determine whether they are operating properly.Examines critical parts and systems using standard checklists.Performs routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups.Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems such brake shoes/ pads, belts, water pumps and other mechanical parts.Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics.Confirms proper operation, that repairs have been made properly, and that problems have been resolved.Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.Proficient with related computer diagnostic equipment and software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.Ability to read service and repair manuals.Ability to read work orders.Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
    Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of related experience required.CDL a Plus
    Physical Requirements:Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must have enough vision to inspect repair work.

    Duties and responsibilitiesMonth-End Close: Manage and execute the full cycle month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.Cash Reconciliation: Perform daily cash reconciliationFinancial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.Lease Accounting: Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards (ASC 842), including tracking, recording, and reporting lease agreements.Intercompany Accounting: Record, track and reconcile intercompany transactionsBudgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control processes to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with company policies.Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required to support various business initiatives.Growth Path to Controller: Work closely with the finance team and management to develop skills and gain experience necessary for the Controller role.
    PM22Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or auditing, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in lease accounting (ASC 842).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
