    Our Inside Sales Associate plays a key role in supporting customers by processing orders and quotes for equipment, parts, and supplies. They build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, and buyers while providing expert product recommendations. This role works closely with our outside sales team and branch staff to drive sales growth.

    Responsibilities

    Effectively interacts with customers by discovering their true intent and combines functional and HVAC product knowledge to navigate them to relevant products and services and solving customer problems.

    Proactively call on assigned accounts to promote sales, programs and marketing initiatives while also probing for opportunities or threats to our business.

    Resolves complex pricing situations encountered during customer interactions using current sales policies and pricing objection handling.

    Supports the order placement process through our ERP and executing quotes, check availability, lead times, order entry, order management, order status, shipping and delivery status, backorders, warranty needs and reporting activities.

    Acts as a liaison with customers and multiple departments.

    Adds value by effectively presenting and communicating, live or virtually, the 2J service capabilities to build customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.

    Works with a Continuous Improvement mindset and contributes to system/process enhancements.

    Analyze reports and sales data looking for additional opportunities within current customers

    Use CRM tool to track opportunities and add customer follow up notes.

    Attend training sessions on products and services to grow in industry knowledge to best support the customer

    Qualifications

    2-3 years related industry experience and/or equivalent field work experience

    High School diploma or higher

    Demonstrated knowledge of the HVAC industry including suppliers, products, technical terminology and applications.

    Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively with customers over telephone, text, email, and in person

    Good listener with the ability to assess customer need

    Goal driven; action oriented, self-motivated

    Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open-minded manner

    Well organized and represent the company in a professional manner

    Ability to work and support a team-based environment

    Proficient with EAP, CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.

    * Provide quality customer service

    * 1 year minimum of box truck driving experience

    * A valid driver's license and a good driving record per company policy

    * Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card

    * Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service

    * Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures

    * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis

    * Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery

    * Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time

    The Territory Sales Manager (Multifamily) contributes to company growth and profitability by managing customer accounts in an assigned geographic territory or market segment.     Understands and executes LTL process

    Understands and executes all inbound and outbound processes

    Completes cycle count checks

    Creates labels for various products, purposes, and warehouse locations

    Maintains housekeeping in all departments

    Performs all duties in compliance to appropriate safety and security standards

    Safely operates forklift with or without basiloid to load, unload, and move product when required

    Changes basiloid attachment as required

    Waters batteries as required

    Performs minor maintenance duties around warehouse

    Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain professional relationships

    Performs other related duties as required and assigned

    Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    High School Diploma or GED preferred

    Two years of experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Thorough knowledge and understanding of distribution warehouse procedures

    Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions

    Strong interpersonal and communicative skills with all levels of the organization

    Organized, detail oriented, accurate, and self-motivated

    Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and/or facts and recommendations effectively

    Occasional overtime as required by the job/tasks/business
