    Job Summary:

    Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Mobile Mammography Technologist will perform diagnostic scanning procedures to capture consistent and high-quality breast images at various sites. This position requires travel.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Use specialized equipment to capture breast images and ensure it is properly maintained.Explains mammogram procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and anxieties.Positions patients for exams, ensuring comfortable and accurate positioning.Monitors the condition of patients in the department and assists the radiologist or other physicians in performing needed medical attention. Review and evaluate the quality of breast images.Performs clerical work related to the obtaining of previous reports, X-ray films, etc. Ensures the safety of both patients and staff by adhering to radiation protection measures. Maintains accuracy of patient records and documentation related to mammogram procedures. Work as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists, and office staff as needed

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Possesses a skilled level and working knowledge of Mammography scanning technology.Competency in instructing fellow Mammography Technologists in the art of scanning.Ability to communicate with radiologists and other healthcare providers about images and patient care.Demonstrates skill and knowledge to identify abnormalities while performing Mammography scans.     Job Summary:

    The PET Technologist will operate PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for detecting cancer, heart disease, and brain disorders. They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensure patient safety and comfort, calibrate complex equipment, and adhere to strict radiation safety protocols. This position is located at our Orchard Park location.

    Essential Functions of a PET/CT Technologist:

    Perform PET/CT scans.Prepare, calculate, and administer radioactive drugs to patients based on weight and protocols.Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, insert IV catheters, monitor patients, and ensure comfort during imaging.Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols (ALARA), maintain equipment, perform quality control, and maintain patient records according to regulatory standards.Work with radiologists, physicians, and medical physicists to review images for quality and clinical accuracy.

    Education and Experience:

    Must be ARRT(N) or NMTCB certifiedMust meet requirements to perform PET/CTMust be CPR CertifiedMust be a registered NYS Technologist

    Essential Functions of a Med Clerk

    Provide transportation of our vehicles to urban or remote locations for healthcare events throughout the state. Safe lawful transportation to the event site, and/or for return of vehicle after the event, or transport from one event to another. Completing documentation for vehicle operation and maintenance (logs/reports) Ensuring the correctness of paperwork. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with VTL and our corporate Policies and Procedures. Working closely with the Operations Manager and CEO to improve efficiency and support existing customer relationships. Ensuring transport compliance at every stop. Operating vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as local, state, and other federal requirements. Co-responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of vehicles (with other mobile staff members). Lead by example for other team members. Assist patients in check-in and insurance process. Assist patients through the screening process Assist in navigating patients.

    Requirements

    High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have Class B CDL (over 1 year experience) Clean motor vehicle record Must pass background and drug screenBasic computer skills and knowledge Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual is a plus!
