    RETTEW is looking for a dynamic and creative Senior AutoCAD Designer 2 to support our Land Development Team.


    The Senior AutoCAD Designer is responsible for detailed design using CADD to produce technical drawings. May assist with the coordination of CADD assignments and workload on projects. The Senior AutoCAD Designer works independently and efficiently under minimal supervision from an engineer or project manager.


    Hybrid Work Schedule: Work from home Mondays and Fridays, and work from the office Tuesdays through Thursdays. Work environment designations are subject to change pending RETTEW policy modifications.


    Responsibilities:

    - Create complex drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    - Communicate and collaborate with project team.

    - Review local, county, and state ordinance and design guidance documents.

    - Work with the project team to prepare or assist in preparing, including but not limited to: Sketch Plans, Subdivision and Land Development Plans, grading, utilities, permit applications, and specifications.

    - Detailed grading and cut fill balancing.

    - Utility plan and profile layouts.

    - Quantitative takeoffs for cost estimating.


    Requirements:

    - Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture or related experience

    - Minimum four years designing traditional land development projects, including grading and stormwater management design

    - Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience with preparation of land development plans, grading, pipe works, erosion and sediment control plans, PCSM plans and Oil and Gas projects.

    - Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, Hydraflow, and HydroCAD

    Your responsibilities fall into the following broad areas:


    Technical Responsibilities:

    - Perform moderate design tasks and collect data for site planning and design projects.
