    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Engineers at RetroFit are responsible for the development and delivery of our technical offerings. This position works in our Network Operations Center as a Level II Help Desk Engineer. Engineers at RetroFit are smart, hardworking individuals with top level experience and enjoy working on highly visible, technically challenging projects and service offerings. They are high caliber, well rounded professionals who are passionate about emerging technology, with exceptional customer service and communication skills. The position is based in Boston and requires the ability to travel to Boston daily.


    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Perform routine remote helpdesk services.Manage/Log and Follow up on Help Desk tickets in a timely mannerRespond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chatDocument in RMM all customer interactionsRun diagnostics to resolve customer reported issuesEscalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficultyInstall, make changes and repair computer hardware and softwareFollow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolvedTroubleshoot software problems, email issues, password resets, malware infections, memory conflicts, configuration issues, etc.Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve client issues with hardwareExperience with Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019 Server rolesInstalling, troubleshooting and managing Microsoft products (Windows 7/10, and MS Office application suite)Experience with Office 365 and cloud solutions.Experience troubleshooting email related issuesThorough understanding of client/server applications architecture


    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019Experience with tools such as spam filters, antivirus/EDR, email backup and email archivers.Experience with Office 365 and Azure.Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.Experience with physical server and storage management.Valid Drivers License with clean driving record and able to be added to the company vehicle insurance policy.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Sense of urgency.Ability to work independently with minimal direction.Experience with ticketing and asset management systems.Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Exceptional oral, written, and documentation communication skills.Critical attention to detail and solid creative problem-solving skills.Ability to consistently follow policies and procedures.


    Preferred Qualifications

    VMware ESXi and Hyper-V management.Experience with RMM tools such as Datto Autotask.Experience with Barracuda email security solutions.Experience with Datto backup or other related tools.Experience with Auvik network management or other related tools.ITILv4 Foundations certification.Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure certifications.Windows Server 2012+ certifications.Company DescriptionWho We Are

We’re a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) specializing in proactive Infrastructure Monitoring and Management, IT Security Solutions, Back-up and Disaster Recovery, Onsite Support and Maintenance, as well as Hardware Procurement.

    The RetroFit Sr.Account Executive is passionate about selling. They invest their time and effort each day building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers and know how to manage their business! This is both a hunting and account management role with responsibilities of prospecting for new logos and upselling/cross-selling current customers, earning commission on both! You will be selling to the corporate environment as well as State Agencies and municipalities.

    The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter within the technology space who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time – and ensure the pipeline remains healthy over a sustained period.


    Responsibilities:

    Actively own and maintain a sales pipeline in accordance with RetroFit business process and philosophiesGrow accounts through selling Managed Services and IT Security SolutionsAchieve/exceed sales goals through the direct sale of RetroFit’s existing and new products and services to prospective and existing customersIdentify and qualify high-value sales opportunities through cold-call prospecting, networking, trade shows, and lead follow up.Conduct thorough discovery, qualify need and strategically prove the value of RetroFit solutions to address those needsCoordinate, create, and lead critical sales presentation including proposals, RFP’s and SOW’sOwn the sales cycle – from lead generation to closureMust have unquestionably high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a stable, growing organizationComfortable talking to all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast paced, results oriented, team environment.Accurately represents our Managed Services offerings to prospective customersDevelops relationships and pipeline of new opportunities, as well as closes sales opportunities\Identifies and creates business needs with executive decision-makers, prospects, and customersGenerates leads through proactive outreach, cold calls, and networking with prospective customersUnderstands customers' needs and business requirements in order to customize systems solutionsDevelops a detailed territory plan in collaboration with the Director of Sales and MarketingDevelops individual account strategies to increase revenue and effectively penetrate accountsDevelops thorough understanding of each account's industry and businessMaintains accurate and timely forecastsRegional travel is required

     

    Qualifications:

    A proven hunter and closer with outstanding customer referrals and exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing business3 – 5 years of Sales experience, 1-2 years IT Services experience a huge plus and preferredConfident presenter with experience conducting face-to-face meetingsExceptionally strong work ethic, self-motivated, metric-oriented, curious and driven with exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and follow-up skills in order to run multiple opportunities in a sales cycle (60-90 days)Must have a positive attitude, be confident, and desire to be the bestExperience with MS Office products and Salesforce.com a definite plusBA/BS or equivalent
