    Position: Full Time- Hourly
    Salary: $20-22 per hour plus mileage

    We seek a Retrieval Technician to work with the Operations Manager to provide services in the San Jose, CA area. The tech will locate abandoned shopping carts in designated areas (streets, parking lots, neighborhoods) and return them to grocery and retail stores.

    Qualifications:

    Have a truck or flatbed trailer and be able to pick up and deliver shopping cartsHave a valid state driver’s licenseHave appropriate vehicle insurance & valid vehicle registrationBe able to follow safety protocolsBe able to work in a variety of weather conditionsBe able to work independently as part of the RMS team while maintaining communication with staffResponsibilities:

The CRV CONNX program is scheduled to continue through Spring 2026.             CRV CONNX is looking to hire CRV Field Technician(s) to undergo comprehensive training and work across all aspects of our CRV Project Operations.  As a CRV Field Technician, you will be responsible for gathering CRV materials from various sources, including RVM machines, participating grocers/retailers, events, and more. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient collection and transportation of recyclable materials, contributing directly to our commitment to environmental sustainability and supporting our customers.  Out in the field: Your responsibilities include driving to pre-determined routes, loading & unloading recycling materials into the van/box truck. You will also provide light-duty maintenance on the RVMs that are stationed at our participating sponsored locations. Ultimately, you will be the face of our CRV project while serving our customers out in the field.   At the Hub: You may operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to handle and transport CRV beverage containers within the Hub. Ensure compliance with CRV regulations and protocols for handling, sorting, tracking, and aggregating recyclable materials. Maintain accurate records of CRV materials received and shipped from the Hub.     Position: carTrac Regional Manager (Full-Time Exempt)



    Purpose

    The Regional Manager for cart retrieval will be responsible for leading all operations and providing planning, direction, and execution for their team, including all District Route Supervisors. Our ideal Regional Manager possesses in-depth knowledge of cart retrieval logistics and experience in field operations, relationship building, project management, and financials. Drive operational performance through measurable KPIs and accountability systems. This role also demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach DRSs, advise, and promote the growth of RSM, Incs current business lines.


    The carTrac Regional Manager shall work under the supervision of the VP of carTrac to provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the carTrac retrieval department and RMSs mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.



    Duties and Responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

    Management:

    Oversee carTrac operations and collaborate with DRS to ensure retrieval goals are met.Coach, manage and conduct weekly operational reviews with District Route Supervisors (DRS) to hold them accountable for staffing coverage, reporting and route execution.Monitor route productivity and labor efficiency.Create and implement new policies and procedures as needed to improve day-to-day operations and workflowImplement new team and site processes with expansion and new business linesConduct internal operational audits focused on route efficiency, fuel/labor management, safety compliance and customer complaint resolution.



    Sales:

    Assist the VP of carTrac with current customers/partners and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs & supporting them with current and future services.Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and retrieval trends as they relate to our customers and services.Support customer retention efforts.Strengthen municipal and retailer relationships proactively.Identify opportunities for service expansion.Ensure all field operations comply with company safety standards and local regulations.Conduct safety reviews and address incidents promptly



    Administration:

    Represent RMS at CGA events, board meetings, conferences, and other industry events.Oversee proof of delivery documentation, route structure, and staffing needs using technology and tools such as OptimoRoute, Everlance, and routing systems.Maintain knowledge of new product lines, including wheel technology, to expand services within the division.Analyze financial records or reports to determine the state of retrieval operations, as assigned.Assist the VP of carTrac with the efficient operations of other carTrac programs



    In This Role, Youll Bring With You:

    5-7+ years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in operations, retail logistics, or field service.Strong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to travel within your region, up to 50% of the time.Valid drivers license with a clean driving recordBilingual preferred

    As a CRV Ambassador, your primary responsibility is to educate, inspire, and mobilize the community about recycling efforts, specifically focusing on our CRV donation-based program. You will engage with the public through events, social media, and various outreach initiatives to promote participation in recycling and highlight the benefits of our donation program.
     
    Out in the field: Your responsibilities include engaging the community with our new CRV project and its positive impact to the industry by answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting the benefits of participating in our CRV donation-based program. This outreach includes community fairs, workshops, grocery stores, and customer events. Most importantly, you will foster relationships with local businesses, residents, grocers, and organizations to expand program awareness and support. 
     
    The ambassador must be tech-savvy. This position will educate the community on using the donation-based App by assisting with its set-up and functions. 
      
    At the Hub: Be an active marketing committee member and participate in social media platforms to promote recycling initiatives, events, and success stories related to CRV CONNX. Prepare regular reports and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and inform future strategies. Support team with other duties to ensure compliance with CRV regulations and protocols for handling, sorting, tracking, and aggregating recyclable materials. 
     
    Summary of Responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
     
    Responsibilities
    ·       Along with the CRV Project Coordinator, you will plan, organize, and execute recycling events, collection drives, and awareness campaigns in collaboration with our customers, community partners, and stakeholders.
