    Job DescriptionAs an/a Residential Energy Auditor you will As an early key hire in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality in-home energy audits and ensuring quality control for our HOMES and HEAR programs. You are a customer-focused technician proficient in BPI standards and related certifications who will be conducting comprehensive in-home energy audits with a focus on income-based program participants and collaboration with contractor networks. Your oversight will extend to residential weatherization, HVAC, and water heating installation inspections, as you review QA/QC findings to ensure program integrity. Working with partners to identify and implement effective solutions based on audit findings and client feedback will be key to your success. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Resource Innovations’ program solutions.  \tResource Innovations (RI) is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. With every step, we're leading the charge to power change. \tDuties and Responsibilities \t \t\tDefine SOP for the Field Service team from Energy Audits to QA/QC. \t\tRecruit and train a team of BPI trained Energy Auditors \t\tManages and implements the field and internal verification process across multiple programs and clients including the selection and review of assignments, track performance against metrics, and ensures all necessary forms and materials are completed    \t\tMay also conduct onsite inspections, writes inspection reports, and provides solutions to remedy failed inspections across the teams \t\tDevelops and implements Energy audit protocols, QA/QC requirements and implementation plans    \t\tProvides education, training, and coaching to trade allies to minimize failed inspections, mitigate faulty workmanship, and remedy failures when they occur    \t\tConducts field inspections as well as oversees a staff conducting field inspections, and effectively manages trade allies    \t\tReviews program QC findings, reports and remedies inaccuracies    \t\tLeverages best practices and continuous improvement plans to implement long term solutions in partnership with the client and Resource Innovations’ Program Managers    \t\tIdentifies root cause analyses and makes recommendations as required for client facing reports    \t\tGenerates weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to audit, monitor and measure performance and relevant metrics    \t\tManages team to ensure contract compliance in forecasting requirements and key performance indicators    \t\tConducts internal and external trainings to include webinars, tutorials and conference calls on relevant business processes and standards    \t\tManages the process of regularly reviewing and updating critical program documentation including field verification guides and forms, processing manuals, policy and procedure manuals.    \t\tKeeps up to date on industry trends and insights with regards to policy and procedure manuals to ensure program materials are most relevant    \t\tWorks as part of a cross functional team that includes program operations, IT, Marketing, and Customer Service/Processing    \t\tMeets with contractor management, customer Service and Processing lead regularly to ensure best practices and continuous improvement initiatives are aligned and implemented effectively    \t\tConducts scheduled and unscheduled reviews of the application process to determine where improvements can be made  \t\tOther duties as assigned \t \tRequirements \t \t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t\tMust be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Pittsburgh, PA or Philadelphia, PA area within 30 days of acceptance for this role \t\t\t\tA Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in a quality control and quality assurance role, or consulting, energy efficiency or utility experience highly desired    \t\t\t\tKnowledge of building science, construction and technical expertise is required \t\t\t\tMust have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle to visit customer and client sites \t\t\t\tAbility to travel 25% to 75% of the time (limited overnight travel) \t\t\t\tMust be a US Citizen \t\t\t \t\t \t \tPreferred \t \t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t\tBPI Building Analyst and Envelope certifications preferred    \t\t\t\tHERS and RESNET Rater certification preferred    \t\t\t\tExperience with SnuggPro a plus \t\t\t\tExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills    \t\t\t\tExceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities    \t\t\t\tTeam player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities    \t\t\t\tSound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information    \t\t\t\tProficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools    \t\t\t\tCustomer service focus    \t\t\t\tAbility to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for senior management team   \t\t\t\tInterest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment. \t\t\t \t\t \t
