Summary RNDC is looking for a collaborative and energetic Sales Representative Trainee to join our growing sales operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for an assigned territory with the purpose to generate sales and ensure that customers have uninterrupted service. Support the trade and customer base through 1:1 visits with Management, peers, and independently. Identify sales opportunities at accounts by demonstrating selling skills while focusing on incremental sales and volume with the account. Participate in promotional marketing and customer events that strengthen our brands and market share. Check quantities of goods on display and in stock and service the account. Review, understand, and use information on competitive products, promotional matter, sales techniques, and pricing in the course of sales generation. Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends. Record sales and order information and send copies to the appropriate system or contact for delivery purposes. Review sales performance, against targets and adjust sales strategy. Additional duties include incidental deliveries and collections, writing sales reports, updating or revising the employee's sales or display catalogue, planning itineraries and attending sales conferences. Possession of and operating a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.

Summary
As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role at RNDC by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will also have the opportunity to collect non-cash payments as necessary, contributing to the financial transactions associated with the deliveries.
In this role, you will
* Properly conducts a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects. Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
* The potential for dedicated overnight routes exist.
* Accurately delivers invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet or hand-stack from the delivery truck and placing said merchandise into customer account.
* Verifies receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the provided invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.
* Ensures physical security of truck at all times.
* Delivers to approximately 19 accounts daily. May deliver up to 30 accounts during times of increased account activity.
* Covers approximately 160 miles daily, miles occasionally increase anywhere from 200 to 300 miles during times of increased account activity or out of town routes.
* Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
* Provide feedback to transportation management in terms of route changes or route concerns.
* May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software and/or driver monitoring programs.
What you bring to RNDC
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
* preferably two years delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
* Requires a current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A CDL license also allowed and may be required for positions based on location); ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
* Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department
* Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state

This posting provides a good faith compensation estimate for the position. The salary range typically begins at 43,700.00 and may extend to 54,700.00, depending on an applicant's qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. This role may also include monthly earned commissions, where applicable.
This compensation range applies specifically to positions located in Ohio and may differ for similar roles in other locations.
