    What You’ll Do:

    Be the Go-To Eye for Detail: From checking newly received goods to inspecting work-in-progress and final machined parts, you will be the backbone of our quality management.Problem Solve: Spot products that need a little re-work to meet our high standards, ensuring every part aligns perfectly with engineering designs.Team Up: Collaborate and communicate across ALL internal departments to get things right the first time.Keep It Official: Follow work instructions, ensure compliance, and accurately document approvals and non-conforming parts.

    Repairtech International, Inc, an FAA state of the art repair station providing expertise to clients around the world utilizing our expertise in repair design development for mechanical repairs to aircraft parts for commercial and military aviation industries. We are low production however attention to detail and the ability to cross train is definitely a requirement.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Preliminary inspection of parts using CMM and/or speciation tools.Verify all dimensions are within print and receive approval from Engineering department.Perform in-process and final inspection of parts, go/no go gauges.Examine, receive and log in customer’s part as needed.Assess repair of incoming parts and final repairs.

    Requirements:

    Familiar with measuring equipment.Able to read and interpret drawings and blue prints.Good written, reading and verbal communication.Clear vision.

    Education and/or Experience:

    High School graduate or GED.Exposed to manufacturing/machine shop/Aviation environments.

    General Manager Responsibilities:

    Reports directly to the President of Repairtech International.

    Manage, coach and mentor direct reports, overall day to day operations including, Production, Shop Machinists/Lead, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Facilities.Oversee succession planning of staff including, performance reviews, merit increases, performance management and employee relations.Run daily operations, direct daily manufacturing and overhaul workflows.Manage P&L, budgeting, and site financial performance.Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.Work with ownership on strategic planning, business expansion, and capitalization.Lead cross-functional production across all business units, engineers, quality, customer service, vendors and Shipping & Receiving.Occasional business travel up to times per year to visit clients and attend industry conferences.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Nice to have MBA.5–10 years of experience managing operations in a small business, industrial equipment, material handling, distribution, or similar environment.Comfortable doing the work yourself - this is a small team, and needs to be hands-on, not just supervisory.Strong communicator. able to speak clearly and write effectively with customers, staff, and leadership.Solid financial sense, you don’t need to be an accountant, but you need to understand a budget and P&L.Problem-solver, calm under pressure, practical, and able to make good decisions with limited information.Must be local and on-site in Van Nuys, CA. This is not a remote role. Must live within 15 miles of our office.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Reports Directly to the President of Repairtech International.

    Manage Team: Coach/mentor direct reports, inspectors, quality analysts, and the NDT department including performance reviews, merit increases and performance management.Quality & Document Control: Reviews, signs, and audits work routers, repair packages, and FAA Form 8130-3 shipment documents for complete accuracy.Audit Management: Conducts annual internal, product, and job audits alongside scheduled external supplier audits and corrective action responses.Technical & NDT Oversight: Acts as the NDT Level II and Level III contact, approves technical sheets, and reviews brazing applications.Part Inspection & Testing: Inspects supplier parts, performs hardness testing, operates a Profilometer, and uses a CMM for inspections.Compliance & Environmental: Serves as the main contact for CERS environmental reporting, manages shelf life, and reviews military parts with DCMA representatives. FAA/EASA Part 145, OEM, NADCAP, (CAPA), CAAC, CASE, AS9100/9110 requirements & audits. Serve as FAA Drug & Alcohol Program Designated Employer Representative (DER).Maintenance & Equipment: Tracks and determines equipment preventative maintenance schedules and logs.Warranty & Non-Conformance: Manages the warranty program, logs claims, and creates internal/external non-conformance reports.Supplier Quality: Obtains corrected supplier certifications and verifies that supplier audits run on schedule.Facility Programs: Facilitates 5S training, tracks logs, and manages scheduled vision exams for appropriate personnel.

    Requirements:

    Must add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent.Certified Level 1 NDT auditor and/or ability to become certified.Word, Excel, ERP System or experience with in-house database system.Ability to read and apply precision measuring instrument to blue print requirements.Possess good inter personal and motivational skills.Prepare layouts, including prototype work.Meet production schedules and deadlines on time.Contribute to methods improvement program.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or related field or in lieu of a degree, 4 years minimum experience working as an engineer in the relevant field.Understanding of mechanical systems and inspection processes, including in-process inspection and dimensional inspection.10-15 years experience in Quality environment with 5 years as a supervisor or manager in machining techniques and manufacturing.3 to 5 years lean manufacturing with ability to implement conceptual ideas to the shop floor.FAA Certified Repair.
