Job description: Production Team Lead
We are a Progressive and Upbeat Window and Sliding Glass Door Manufacturing Company located near the airport.

Below is a list of some of the equipment and duties involved:
Team Lead: In general, a Team Leader is responsible for communicating and executing the goals of the organization to the front-line team members effectively and addresses all the areas of concern. Some of the other duties and responsibilities of a Line Leader are:
• Safety: ensure the team is working in a safe manner and following all safety rules and regulations. This includes proper and complete use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Quality: ensure the team maintains high standards of quality on all tasks and work being produced while attaining our production goals.
• Performance: Drive and attain the performance targets set by leadership for each specific job. A Team Leader has to make sure that they are doing everything in their capacity to help the team achieve its targets. Routinely track production vs goals and participate in corrective actions.
• Team development: The Team Leader develops the team and individuals to ensure they consistently deliver the required performance and quality our customers depend on. Coach team members as appropriate in performing tasks in a best practice manner or working on improving behaviors when contrary to team goals and development.
• Professionalism: Team Leaders have to conduct themselves in such a way that they are looked upon as role models by their team members. Leaders have to set proper examples for team members to follow for both best practices when adding value to our products as well as behaviors conducive to greater team building.
• Other: Demonstrated previous leadership roles in manufacturing or other industries desirable. Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus.
Fabrication & Sliding Glass Door Dept:
• Tiger Saws, Dewalt Saw/Alum, 45 Degree / Vinyl, Punch Press, 4 Point Heat Welders, Frame Cleaners, Sash Welder & Cleaner
• Use of tape measure beneficial
Glass Dept:
• Optimizer (Glass cutter), Glass Washing / Cleaner, Glass Oven
• Use of tape measure beneficial
Final Assembly:
• The majority of the work in this area is assembly type work, working with your hands, applying locks, decals, preparing the windows to be shipped.
• This Department also builds all screens for the windows.
