    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    · Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty.

    · Keep up to date with and effectively use technology and media in the classroom.

    · Track student attendance and post assignment feedback in a timely manner.

    · Attend faculty/staff and in-service meetings.

    · Implement and adhere to all school policies.

    · Participate in graduation ceremonies.

    Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned.

    Education/Experience Needed:

    * RN or Higher License required.

    · Must have a current nursing license in the state of Tennessee.

    · Must have a minimum of three years of nursing experience,

    · Experience teaching adults, experience supervising CNAs, or completion of a TTT class.

    Experience working in nursing home or rehab facility, required.

    Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic dental professional ready to make a difference by educating students who are eager to train as dental assistants?     We’re seeking a dental professional, preferably with some teaching experience, to join the academic team at our Nashville Campus on a part-time basis. Salary is competitive.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    As a Dental Assisting instructor, you will train students in your field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    Prepares lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).Teaches courses as assigned, instructs, and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.

    Education/Experience Needed:

    As a Dental Assisting instructor, you must believe in the power of sharing your knowledge, motivating others, and putting students first and must be passionate about training tomorrow’s work force.

    Additional requirements include:

    High School Diploma or a GED.At least three (3) years of practical work experience as a dental assistant or dentist.Professional certification/licensure as required by state or national licensing agency or agencies.
