Key Responsibilities

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineering Technician to support machine setup, improve operational availability, and troubleshoot complex technical issues within a manufacturing environment. This role will also play a key part in supporting capital projects from planning through start of production (SOP).
Key Responsibilities
Test and repair electrical equipment and systems (circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives)Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, robotics, cameras, and other electronic systemsTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and safety systemsSupport machine integration into production, including leveling, adjustments, and quality confirmationExecute problem-solving initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivityDevelop and manage detailed schedules for assigned projectsParticipate in project planning with Engineering teamsSupport machine production trials (internal and vendor-based)Ensure equipment safety compliance (NFPA79, ISO standards)Document work performed using electronic and written methodsRequired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience, with a strong background in Design Build/Design Assist projects, particularly for data centers or large-scale commercial builds.
Job Duties
Project Assessment
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to fully understand technical requirements for mission-critical and data center projects.Review project specifications, drawings, and related documentation to identify key project elements.Cost Estimation
Utilize industry-standard estimating software and methodologies to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop comprehensive project budgets.Bid Preparation
Prepare and submit competitive, well-organized bids in a timely manner.Coordinate with the procurement team to obtain accurate and current pricing for materials and subcontractor services.Risk Analysis
Identify potential risks related to project execution and incorporate mitigation strategies into cost estimates.Recommend alternative solutions or cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.Collaboration
