Relation Insurance is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive to join its team.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned employee benefits professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to clients, leading strategic benefit plan discussions, and helping organizations navigate complex healthcare and employee benefits decisions.
You'll partner closely with clients, carriers, producers, and internal consulting teams to design, manage, and optimize employee benefits programs. From renewals and benchmarking to compliance guidance and employee communications, you'll play a key role in helping clients achieve their business and workforce goals.

What You'll Do
Serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor for assigned employee benefits clientsDevelop a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, workforce demographics, and benefits strategyLead annual renewal planning, carrier negotiations, market evaluations, and strategic benefit recommendationsAnalyze claims experience, utilization trends, contribution strategies, and plan performance to identify opportunities for improvementDevelop and present benchmarking reports, renewal strategies, financial analyses, and executive-level recommendationsGuide clients through employee benefits compliance matters, including HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and related regulationsManage open enrollment strategy, employee education campaigns, enrollment meetings, and communication materialsPartner with producers and internal service teams to ensure exceptional client service and successful execution of client initiativesReview carrier proposals, vendor agreements, plan documents, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) for accuracy and alignment with client objectivesDevelop employee-facing communications including benefit guides, enrollment presentations, educational materials, and announcementsMaintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional services, resources, and strategic solutionsUtilize technology, reporting tools, and innovative solutions to enhance client service and operational efficiencySupport additional projects and initiatives as neededWhat You Bring
Active Life, Accident & Health License requiredMinimum 5 years of employee benefits brokerage experience requiredStrong knowledge of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability plansExperience leading employee benefits renewals and presenting recommendations directly to client leadership teamsKnowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other employee benefits compliance requirementsExperience analyzing claims data, utilization reports, benchmarking studies, and contribution strategiesStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneouslyAdvanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environmentStrong problem-solving, consulting, and relationship-building abilitiesPreferred but not required:
Bachelor's degreeCEBS, CBP, or other advanced employee benefits designationExperience with employee benefits technology platforms, enrollment systems, and carrier portalsSchedule
