This is a hands‑on, full time onsite opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys working in a dynamic, high‑volume environment and partnering closely with executive and operational leadership.
The Financial Controller will oversee accounting and financial operations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and help strengthen processes and controls as the organization continues to grow. This role leads a small accounting team and serves as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and reporting to the CFO.

Role and Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, billing, and payrollMaintain the general ledger, depreciation schedules, reconciliations, workpapers, and journal entries as neededPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage the month‑end close process to ensure timely and accurate reportingPrepare account analyses and reconciliationsDevelop and enhance dashboards and performance metrics to support business decision‑makingBudgeting & Forecasting
Partner with senior financial leadership to prepare annual budgets and financial forecastsMonitor and analyze financial performance, margins, purchasing costs, and variancesSupport long‑range financial planning and scenario analysisCash, Treasury & Risk Management
Oversee daily cash flow and support banking and treasury activitiesProvide backup support for transactional accounting functions as neededEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory, tax, and reporting requirementsCompliance & Internal Controls
Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial dataCoordinate with external accountants on annual reviews, compilations, or auditsSupport enterprise risk management and related administrative processesLeadership & Business Partnership
Partner closely with executive leadership and operations to support strategic initiativesStandardize accounting practices and implement system and process improvementsServe as a financial advisor to cross‑functional teams, including operations and salesFoster a collaborative, high‑performance accounting team environment focused on accountability, communication, and professionalism
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experienceExperience in distribution, logistics, supply‑based, or other complex, high‑volume operating environments strongly preferredPrior experience in a middle‑market or family‑owned organization is a plusEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredCurrent CPA, CMA, or successful completion of MBA preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and accrual‑basis accountingProficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks or comparable ERP platforms)Strong Excel skills and financial modeling capabilitiesCharacteristics of an Ideal Candidate
