Starting Base Pay = $18.00/Hour, Plus $0.75/Hour shift Differential
Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts)Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).Ability to read, understand, and adhere to a production manufacturing schedule and communicate issues or deviations with the appropriate parties.Maintain production flow on machinery by monitoring downstream and upstream issues, supplying raw materials to the equipment, and performing minor servicing if and when needed.Follow all Quality Assurance and Production line standard operating procedures.Follow standard operating procedures to perform equipment changeovers; ability to read imperial and metric measurements.Record all necessary information for production and quality records. Keep accurate downtime reports and documentation.Responsible for performing equipment and general sanitation in your work area or as assigned by leadership.Work closely with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce waste.Ability to understand visual and auditory cues to identify production or machine related issues.Perform minor machine maintenance.Perform any other duties assigned by leadership including but not limited to cross training, general and plant sanitation, inventory management, training, etc.
Required Skills:
Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment, beverage production experience preferred.Demonstrates the ability to gain a firm understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues.Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.Adeptness in basic mathematical abilities.Skill in understanding and interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements.Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred.Forklift certification may be required.

Essential Job Functions:

Evaluate finished products against current standards by performing audits to monitor all aspects of finished product and packaging integrity. Check process control parameters to assure proper equipment application and operation is being maintained by performing secure seal, closure torque, can seam checks, and/or any other requirements required by the customer or the company. Stop any production which may be questionable in terms of Food Safety and immediately alert a member of the management team. Maintain accurate, legible records of all tests and retests performed. Complete all other required reports (work orders, action reports, etc.) in a timely manner. Perform analytical tests required to qualify ingredient batches for production. Perform production line checks at specified intervals. Ensure accurate test results by maintaining proper operation and calibration of laboratory equipment. Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times. Report all out of specification results to designated leadership. Complete special projects and other reasonable duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred. Exposure to using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM machines) preferred. Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change.High level of precision and accuracy in inspection and testing processes. Reporting to the Plant Director, the Continuous Improvement Manager II is responsible for developing, coordinating, and sustaining CI initiatives within the manufacturing plant. Partnering with the Plant Leadership team, the CI Manager will drive the deployment of CI strategies across the facility. This role involves leading improvement projects, training and developing employees to lead similar initiatives, and fostering a Lean mindset throughout the plant. A strong Lean background is essential, as the CI Manager will spend significant time on the production floor, driving sustainable improvements and securing buy-in at all levels.

Salary range: $70,000 - $92,00 (may vary based on relevant experience)
Cell Phone Allowance: $31.75 per month
Shift: 6am - 3pm (The candidate will be subject to a 12-hour continental shift, but upon hire, will work 5, 8-hour shifts per week for approximately one month (days). Once that month has concluded, the candidate will slowly integrate into the continental schedule, with the supervisors rotating day (5AM-5PM) and night (5PM to 5AM) coverage quarterly.)

Position Description
The Production Supervisor will drive production/manufacturing results through ownership and accountability; ensure budgeted performance is reached on all lines; meet line performance objectives including changeover objectives; maintain washouts to required timelines; limit downtime. This position will work with maintenance to ensure appropriate operations/maintenance "handshakes", PM program adherence, training/knowledge sharing; communicate and redirect maintenance efforts to meet quality and productivity goals. Develop and implement systems to improve production efficiencies that are sustainable and repeatable.
Essential Functions
Must constantly focus on improving line performance, limiting downtime, improving changeover time on all lines. Ensure mechanical knowledge is communicated to all techs and operators as needed.Develop and deliver effective briefs, reports, meetings. Attend all inter-department meetings each day to coordinate plans, complete any required safety items, cross train employees, ensure GMP and SQF compliance, verify QC checks on running product, verify all line checks are being performed, and complete visual observation of running product.Understand and know the short-term as well as long-range goals and targets for production and how they tie to the daily/weekly/monthly production plan.Continual monitoring and updating of SOP's as needed.Plan and execute effective line startups, ensure cleaning on all equipment is maintained, plan new product runs effectively.Implement the Production Department training matrix to maintain an accurate record of employees in need of training. Document expert knowledge and develop training program around that information. Track effectiveness of training thru weekly evaluation form. Certify each employee has completed training and are fully qualified and periodically validate.Lead meetings with employees at the end/beginning of a shift (debrief) communicating needed information for the business flow.Lead on projects to include but not limited to capital improvements on production lines and support systems, new product runs, packaging or container changes to existing products, consumer complaint issue investigations, line issue investigations including six sigma tool uses.Will also attend safety meetings and lead process improvement teams to generate ideas to improve efficiencies on the lines or any topic so designated.Develop plant operations knowledge of the main support systems needed to run an effective plant. Knowledge of the major pieces of support equipment that are essential to running the plant and impact of problems with these systems.Must communicate clearly with team what is expected and monitor performance and address inefficiencies thru coaching and positive motivation and/or formal disciplinary action, if required.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.Requirements
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate Degree in an Engineering related field (or equivalent experience) plus four (4) years experience in a production and/or engineering environment required.Strong leadership capabilities in a fast-paced production environment required.Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.Position-Specific Skills:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required.An understanding of operational electrical and mechanical systems is a plus. Summary Description:
The Plant Controller position is accountable for the overall integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial results and safeguarding of plant assets for a multi-line and has significant operational and SKU complexity. The Controller is a key member of the Operations Management team and engages in all aspects of operations to provide timely and comprehensive financial leadership to the Plant Management team. · Have an understanding of SQF, responsible to take action to when notified or become aware of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.
· Support the operation by working OT as needed to maintain production in accordance with Union contract.
· Use SAP to provide data for shipping & receiving functions.
· Communicate via email with Supervisors, Coordinators, Production, Maintenance and Management as needed and required.
