    Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced and energetic Pre K Teacher Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth.     Responsibilities Assist Lead Teacher in organizing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 4-5, in  alignment with North Carolina's Pre-K guidelines and early learning standards. Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, encouraging open communication and collaboration.Maintain classroom order and discipline in a positive and supportive manner, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.Provide guidance and support for children’s emotional and social development, helping them build self-confidence and positive peer relationships.Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education practices and regulations.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and child care.QualificationsHS Diploma or equivalentChild Development Associate (CDA) credentialPrevious experience as a daycare teacher or childcare providerStrong understanding of child developmentPatient, kind, and nurturingExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsFirst aid/CPR certifiedCompensation 
    Compensations are based on years of NC Pre-K Experience (with CDA, Associates or higher degree). Teacher Assistant Compensation based on 10 months. Starting with zero years of experience at $25, 980.00 and will increase each year.
