We are hosting a $35 Event Security Officer// On-Call// Virtual Hiring Interview Fair on June 25th 2026 6/25/2026. to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Description of Duties
Respond to reasonable business-related customer service requests.Respond to security related incidents and ensure proper documentation is completed.Maintain and submit clear, concise, and accurate Activity Logs, Incident Reports, Accident Reports, and Maintenance Reports.Work under general supervision of Site Security Manager or Supervisor.Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor.Maintain professional communication with clients and visitors to the property.Respond to emergency calls including medical, fire and security incidents.Use two-way hand held radio to communicate with supervisor or other security officers.Remain alert and vigilant while on dutyAssist other officers in a team oriented environment
Qualification Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.High School graduate or GED required.Possess and maintain a valid California Guard Registration (guard card).Have the legal right to work in the United States.Fluent in English (fluency in other languages in addition to English a plus)Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.Ability to read, write, understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.Ability to walk and/or stand in one location for extended periods of time and or complete foot patrols as required.Ability to respond to emergency or incidents and work cooperatively with law enforcement and emergency services personnel.Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Position responsibilities
Vehicle patrol of assigned City parks, City office buildings, and/or City facilities as described in Post Orders.May be assigned to an office/ lobby desk position at some facilities.Enforce City ordinances and select vehicle code sections, make physical arrests and/or issue citations in accordance with City policy as needed.Wear a uniform and full duty belt, including firearm, baton, pepper spray, handcuffs, and flashlight.Demonstrate professional communications with the public, co-workers, City vendors and staff.Respond to emergency calls including fire, medical emergencies, and damage to property.Respond to security related complaints and ensure proper documentation is completed as per policy.Generate and submit electronic Incident Reports, parking warnings, and Maintenance reports using a mobile application.Under special authority granted by the City, issue citations for violations of ordinances and vehicle code violations.Work under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager, and/or Client Manager.Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old High School graduate or equivalent.Must have a valid Driver's License and CLEAN DMV history (with no points)Possess and maintain a valid CA Guard Registration (guard card), Exposed Firearm permit and firearm, Pepper Spray/ Tear gas certification and Baton permit.Ability to successfully pass a firearm qualification with one of our in-house instructors.Ability to successfully pass a thorough oral interviewAbility to successfully pass a multi panel drug screen.Ability to successfully pass an MMPI-2 psychological assessment.Have the legal right to work in the United States.Fluent in English (fluency in Spanish a plus)Ability to read, write and understand written orders, policies, procedures, and how to apply them.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and takes initiative while carrying out existing
