The Beer and Wine Manager will oversee all ordering, storage, invoicing, and conditions of the Beer and Wine department to ensure maximum profitability. Duties include but not limited to forecasting, planning, and manage all beverage orders, staff and financial results. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The following duties are included but not limited to: Manage all beer and wine sales and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards Maintain an acceptable level of inventory in order to maximize sales and control out of date product by proper ordering through the vendors and LOOP. Control inventory levels using the automated ordering system (DAX) and routine smart counts on sections to ensure accuracy of inventory in the system. Work in conjunction with the beverage vendors on product displays and seasonal products within the Beer and Wine department. Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service at all times. Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns Properly handle invoices and pricing integrity within the Beer and Wine category.
