    They are seeking an experienced Controller to join their dynamic team.
    This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing international company. The Controller will lead all accounting operations and ensure the integrity of the company's financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting function, overseeing the monthly close process, and providing timely, accurate financial insights to support business decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can operate both strategically and tactically in a growing, mid-sized organization.

    Responsibilities

    Accounting & Financial Reporting

    Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assetsManage and improve the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare and review accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPEnsure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements

    Leadership & Team Management

    Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team of one senior staff memberEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesDrive accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecastingMonitor financial performance and provide variance analysisPartner with leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making

    Cash Management & Operations

    Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital managementOptimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalabilitySupport operational initiatives with financial analysis and insights

    Audit & Compliance

    Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filingsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal policiesMaintain documentation and readiness for audits and reviews

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance CPA strongly preferred7–12+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior Controller or Assistant Controller experience in a mid-sized company Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience managing a team

    Job Summary:

    The branch manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operation and personnel development activities. We are seeking a strong operational individual to join our growing team with an opportunity to run branch operations at our Camden, DE location.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the branch.Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.Manage the branch honestly, follow high ethical standards, and comply with all government regulations.Evaluate regularly the effectiveness of the branch operation, to see that policies are being observed and that goals are being attained.Increase personal knowledge and expertise in business, appropriate technology, etc.

    Other Duties

    Cooperate fully with the Credit Department in extending and enforcing credit policy.Participate actively in community, business and industry organizations to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company in the local area.Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    5+ years in a similar Leadership Role.Strong customer service and problem solving skills.Must be results oriented and willing to be accountable for results.Good written and oral communication skills.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Select, promote and discharge employees within the branch in accordance with basic personnel policy.Ensure that all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed.Provide training, coaching, development and motivation to bring out the best in each distribution team member.

    Decision Making

    Develop and implement sales and profitability plans according to account management principles that ensure the development and maintenance of account plans.Direct all operational aspects of the branch to include distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in a manner that supports reaching the profitability goals.Recommend desirable changes in the policies and goals of the branch and the organization.Assist Regional Manager in developing branch and organizational objectives.

    Financial Responsibilities

    Ensure the safekeeping of company assets, including structures, equipment, inventory and cash.Achieve the profitability goals/objectives of the division/branch and organization.Oversee branch financial management.

    Communication

    Communicate effectively with other branches and senior managers by sharing information on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.

    Physical Demands

    Ability to lift up to 75lbs.Requires long periods of standing.Frequent stooping, squatting, stretching, bending and lifting are required to reach inventory items.The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
