    El Cajero es responsable de procesar pagos de manera precisa y eficiente, brindar un servicio cordial al cliente y asegurar el correcto manejo de efectivo y otros métodos de pago. Su rol es clave para garantizar una experiencia de compra fluida y mantener registros financieros exactos.

    Responsabilidades principales

    Recibir y atender a los clientes en el área de caja.

    Registrar y cobrar productos o servicios con exactitud.

    Manejar efectivo, tarjetas, vales y otros métodos de pago.

    Realizar apertura, arqueo y cierre de caja siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos.

    Emitir recibos, facturas y comprobantes de pago.

    Resolver dudas de los clientes y brindar información básica sobre productos, precios o promociones.

    Mantener su estación de trabajo limpia, ordenada y abastecida.

    Reportar discrepancias, errores o situaciones irregulares en la caja.

    Cumplir con políticas de seguridad, manejo de efectivo y atención al cliente.

    Apoyar en actividades adicionales del área cuando sea necesario.

    Requisitos

    Educación mínima: secundaria o preparatoria (según empresa).

    Experiencia previa en manejo de caja o atención al cliente (deseable).

    Habilidad numérica y precisión en el registro de transacciones.

    Buenas habilidades de comunicación y trato con el cliente.

    Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y en horarios rotativos.

    Conocimiento básico de sistemas de punto de venta (POS).
