Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Outside Sales Post-Tension & Rebar at Ready Cable's location in Houston, TX. The role involves field service, customer service, sales, training, and account management tasks to support and grow the company's client base.

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients
• Knowledge of and ability to answer technical questions about post-tension materials
• Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers
• Project Management experience: Planning and execution of projects, including monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring quality control
• Take Off’s: Ability to read foundation plans/details to determine quantity/size/type of required materials for bidding and order processing
• Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
Qualifications
• Knowledge of Post-Tension and Rebar
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably outside sales
• Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

Position Summary
Ready Cable is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our branch. This position plays a key role in ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, supervising team members, and assisting the Branch Manager in achieving company goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist the Branch Manager with the daily operations of the branch.Supervise and support warehouse, production, and front counter personnel.Provide outstanding customer service by assisting walk-in customers and responding to phone and email inquiries.Coordinate order processing, scheduling, and deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment.Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control and cycle counts.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating branch employees.Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.Prepare reports and maintain accurate branch records.Step into the Branch Manager role during absences as needed.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in construction materials, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Forklift experience is a plus.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.Benefits
