RBR-Technologies is seeking a Hardware System Engineer with FPGA experience to support one of our customers in Maryland. RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement FPGA-based digital logic using VHDL or Verilog.
    Develop simulation testbenches and verify designs using ModelSim or equivalent tools.
    Synthesize, place & route, and generate bitstreams using Xilinx tools (Vivado/ISE).
    Collaborate with systems engineers and software developers to integrate hardware into embedded systems.
    Perform timing analysis, resource utilization reviews, and constraint optimization.
    Document designs, test plans, and results in support of project requirements.
    Participate in lab testing, debugging, and validation of FPGA designs on target hardware.
    Managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
    REQUIREMENTS TS/SCI with polygraph
    This position can be filled a a level 1, 2, or 3 based upon experience. An SE1 requires 7 years of experience; an SE2 requires 14 years; an SE3 requires 20 years of experience
    Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering efforts is required
    A bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; 5 additional years of experience will be considered in Lieu of Degree.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or SoC integration.
    experience with software programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Ruby on Rails.
    Comfortable working in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
    Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Tcl).
    Understanding of high-speed digital design, interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, PCIe), and signal integrity.

The candidate will assist in the execution of the Program's Budget through the creation/maintenance of spend plans, requisitions and their supporting documents.     Pull financial reports/data from Agency systems such as FACTS, CMIS, EDSS, and CDW.
    Utilize established NSA acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations and tools.
    Assist the Government in monitoring of proper financial code usages.
    Assist the Government in responding to internal and external financial data inquiries.
    Assist in monitoring expenses against budgets.
    Assist the Government in coordination, entry, and finalization of basis of estimate data to include current year updates.

    REQUIREMENTS TS/SCI with polygraph
    Eight years of DoD, IC or 10 years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance and a Bachelor's Degree with a business focus is required.
    Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/project status in areas of cost, schedule and performance is required.
    Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs is required. NSA's financial management system and its interfaces (currently FACTS and CMIS) experience is preferred.
    In lieu of a degree, Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management, and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or seventeen (17) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial purchasing/finance experience may be substituted.
    In lieu of certification, an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of seventeen (17) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or nineteen (19) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial purchasing/finance experience may be substituted.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include creating formulas and pivot tables is required. Proficiency with PowerPoint to include importing Excel data into presentations.

    Configure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)
    Manage application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls
    Configure and troubleshoot virtual networking, vlans, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs)
    Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures
    Diagnose network connectivity problems
    Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software
    Monitor network capacity and performance
    Mitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties
    Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices
    Configure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems
    REQUIREMENTS Active TS/SCI with polygraph (current CI must be under 6 yrs)
    MS in STEM AND 10 years' experience, OR BS degree in STEM AND 12 years' experience, OR HS and 15 years' experience as a Network Engineer
    Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS
    Experience with VMware/ESXi
    Experience with Switch VLAN setup
    Experience with VMware virtual NIC config for isolation
    Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
    Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)
    Active Cisco certification
