We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The successful candidate will employ their working knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and analytical skills in electromagnetic and microwave theory. Responsibilities include design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities. Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience are desired. In support of this mission, we have an exciting opportunity for a Test Equipment / Technical Support Lead within the Land and Strategic Missile Defense business area. You will work with a team responsible for providing data driven and solutions and training to the customer covering a wide range of technical subjects including, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, energy, and test systems Additionally, you’ll provide logistics support to the maintenance facilities around the world, full time on-site support at one CONUS maintenance facility, and on-site support for other facilities as required. What You Will Do Lead a team of engineers in coordinating technical support for missile operations and test to assure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other engineering organizations including Test Engineering Design and with the USG customer for future test station design opportunities for facilities both CONUS and OCONUS Assist onsite customer Depot technical personnel with problem solving around technical scope, budget and schedule Propose changes to Depot hardware and software based on obsolescence/upgrades/updates to factory test equipment and procedures Maintain configuration at the Depots as required by approved changes to the hardware/software associated with the system and test equipment Update, validate and distribute Depot operational procedures involvement with new procedures as program needs and system changes require Provide training for Depot personnel on upgraded equipment Modify Depot equipment and software as a result of approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Lead EXIM RGEMs for data management systems/ program reviews with the customer for the Patriot Missile Programs Assess ECP impacts for the facilities and missile processing and coordination of all monthly communication calls with missile processing facilities. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience working with test stations. Leadership experience. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to lead a team through multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast-paced operations environment Develop technical presentations to large audiences including the U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers Experience with System assembly, disassembly and test Experience developing and troubleshooting System level Test equipment Experience leading teams of 4+ engineers on day to day tasking Experience managing technical scope, budget Read Less
