    Raytheon is currently seeking a Test Equipment Design Engineer (Test Development Engineer II) to join the Sensor Test Solutions (STS) Department. This is an excellent position for engineers with a background in electrical design and software programming/automation, along with a desire to apply those skills to developing, building, and integrating advanced test platforms and architectures.

    You will be joining a project team responsible for the development of test solutions and architectures for various programs within Raytheon. Typical test development applications include analog/digital, RF, High Power, and embedded software/firmware design activities. Test architectures include a blend of customized and COTS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), along with custom electro-mechanical holding fixtures and associated interface cabling and harnessing.

    Engineers in this role will also have exposure to the full lifecycle development process - from the requirements definition phase of the test solution design process through the verification and final system sell-off in a production facility or field/depot environment.

    This role is 100% onsite in Tewksbury, MA

    What You Will Do

    Develop test hardware, software, and/or firmware, from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing or customer facilities. These test capabilities may span multiple disciplines (Power, RF, Analog, Digital)

    Actively identify test readiness issues and optimizations throughout the development lifecycle.

    Understand and meet established project budget, schedule, and performance commitments

    Guide mechanical engineering and/or suppliers through test adapter design activities, with moderate support from senior engineers.

    Work effectively within a team, or function as an individual contributor as needed, working autonomously with limited supervision

    Engage in personal technical growth

    Prepare and clearly present your work product at project status meetings

    Support Manufacturing operations, including on-site troubleshooting and debugging

    Qualifications You Must Have

    Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

    Minimum of two (2) years of relevant engineering experience

    Experience in electrical engineering design and/or software automation concepts and applications

    The Effectors PG&C Center is currently hiring for a Sr. Systems Engineer - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer position in Tucson, AZ to support execution of the portfolio of current and upcoming missile programs. As a Sr. Systems Engineer - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping with the evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms.     What You Will Do

    Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code

    Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics

    Provide experience and guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently and effectively

    Qualifications You Must Have

    Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.

    Experience with Low Observables or Signature Management or Computation Electromagnetic Codes, Stealth or Survivability engineering technology experience. OR an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 9 years' experience.

    We are looking for Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, engaging in a dynamic team environment, and are eager to learn.

    As a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer, you will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary work across integrated product teams consisting of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing and missile-and-sensor-level Performance Simulations. Our Performance Simulation teams provide, develop, and maintain high fidelity performance simulations, evaluate system performance, support new business initiatives and develop & execute technology roadmaps. This is an Onsite role in Tucson, AZ.

    What You will Do

    You will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test supportYou will be responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions, and subsequently conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performanceYou will work in a team environment, receiving input from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team membersYou will collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities according to the program scheduleYou will work on different projects, determine, and develop approaches and solutions, and provide development guidance throughout the product lifecycle from initial concept to fielded productYou will provide technical expertise for the simulation products of a specific program, and assist Senior Modeling Engineers in the preparation of detailed plans, and may interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products

    Qualifications You Must Have

    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experienceExperience applying object-oriented software design and programming in C or C++Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluation of data setsExperience modeling or simulating physical systemsExperience in modeling, simulation, statistics, and/or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutionsAbility to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. The Site Development & Integration section performs large scale, complex site development and onsite support. Engineers will perform research, design, support construction and development of military and commercial facilities.

    The position is for the Marlborough, Massachusetts location. This position is an onsite role.

    What You Will Do

    Develop, revise, and maintain AutoCAD drawings, models, and designs from verbal directions, hand drawn sketches, and existing hard copy drawings.

    Use preliminary sketches, diagrams, and other engineering information to generate conceptual layouts for notional facility systems using CAD tools such as Autocad, and Revit.

    Support site surveys for facility infrastructure solutions.

    Develop facility requirements and design development documents for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.

    Work with Architect/Engineering (A/E) contractors facility design effort.

    Review and approve shop drawings and construction specifications.

    Document and manage action items, field issues, and change requests including coordination with home office engineering, equipment suppliers, and onsite teams.

    Collaborate and coordinate work activities with Raytheon, Government, and subcontractors.

    Basic knowledge of DOD codes and standards, including Unified Facility Codes (UFC's) for site installations.

    Travel is expected to be 20% both domestically and internationally. Travel could include multiple week duration trips.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited University and has passed the fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE) plus eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Familiar in the use of drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD.

    Familiarity with building codes for commercial, industrial and military/Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
