Field Service Technician (Kansas City, MO)
At Raymond Central, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems within our customer distribution center locations.
*This is a full time, hourly position. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment, systems and products at the customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met. Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility. Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management. Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required. Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers. Maintain the van’s interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents. Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required. Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position. Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.
Ideal candidate will possess:
-Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
-Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications
-Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries
Minimum Qualifications:
-HS Diploma or GED
-At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
-Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
-Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height

Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional to help carry out the day to day operations of our parts group in Earth City. This role will oversee parts projects, parts transportation, and some project management. This role will provide industry training, career mapping, and potential leadership opportunities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in replenishment of sold inventory.Assist in maintaining inventory dollar levels and overall numbers Assist in development of parts consignments.Process customer orders via telephone, over-the-counter and utilizing automated equipment to complete orders.Perform data entry functions pertaining to order entry and invoicing of parts orders.Process shop requisitions and shop returns for work orders.Assist service personnel with parts procurementReceive parts shipments from factory into computer inventory and place on shelves.Maintain all parts files.Match parts department vendor invoices with purchase orders and receivers and forward to management for approval.Assist in year-end inventory.
