Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRapid Estate Liquidators & Auction Gallery is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team! Our ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills and follow-through, can work independently, and has significant customer service experience. You will be working with the team to route incoming communications and acting as a liason between RELAAG and our customers, clients, and vendors. We are a small team, so you will be asked to help with other aspects of the business like researching items in the auction, writing listings, and assisting with pickups.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the auction team before, during, and after salesAnswer phones and emails, respond to basic client inquiries, and route more complex questions appropriatelyAssist with auction preparation including catalog organization, data entry, and document managementEnter and maintain accurate records for consignors, bidders, invoices, and paymentsCoordinate paperwork related to consignments, condition reports, and post-sale follow-upsSupport invoice processing, filing, and light bookkeeping tasks as neededHelp keep the office organized and running smoothly during busy sale periodsAuction & Client Support
Assist with bidder registration and customer service during previews and auction daysCommunicate clearly and professionally with consignors, buyers, shippers, and vendorsHelp prepare shipping lists and coordinate basic logistics with our shipping partnersTrack deadlines and follow up on outstanding paperwork or client responsesSkills & Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working with spreadsheets, email, and basic office softwareClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasks and shifting priorities, especially around auction datesReliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trainedPrevious administrative, office, or customer service experience preferredNice to Have (but Not Required)
Experience working in an auction house, gallery, estate sale, or similar environmentFamiliarity with inventory systems, databases, or auction platformsInterest in antiques, art, collectibles, or the auction industry in generalWork Environment
