    This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an accompanied position (eligible for dependents).

    What You Will Do:

    Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of the radar mechanical systems.Performs implementation of new integration projects for both. improvement and modernization (I&M) and operational and maintenance (O&M). Maintain maintenance schedules, spare parts, and equipment inventory.Performs management of preventive maintenance projects.Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.Eight (8) or more years of Mechanical Engineering experience or equivalent field experience.Demonstrated ability to perform effective hardware design, structural analysis, and organize integration projects.Familiar with standard mechanical functions of equipment including, but not limited to, pumps, motors, and structural components. Safety-conscious. Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.Demonstrated ability to read schematic diagrams. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and direct craftsmen and technicians.     What You Will Do:

    Provide O&M support, new installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance and repairs of various types of equipment to include Chillers, Pumps, Motors and Air Compressors used in buildings heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and chiller water systems.Provide material and labor estimates for owned projects.Responsible for the shop in the absence of the supervisor.Assist shop supervisor with daily monitoring of the work management system.Oversee and advise other technicians in the proper use of tools and equipment.Adhere to safety rules and regulations in the course of their work.Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Skills Needed:

Possess EPA Universal HVAC Certification for handling refrigerants.Must be able to relocate to Roi Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.Required to pass a Federal Background Investigation to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).Possess EPA Universal HVAC Certification for handling refrigerants.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
