Position Overview
Railcraft is seeking an Elite Fabrication Welder with a minimum of 5 years of fabrication welding experience. This is not an entry-level production welding position. We are looking for a highly skilled craftsman who takes pride in precision, quality, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating custom aluminum products from drawings, maintaining tight tolerances, and producing architecturally finished work that meets the highest standards.
Red Seal Certification or equivalent trade qualification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Fabricate custom aluminum railing systems, canopies, decks, and architectural componentsPerform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materialsRead and interpret fabrication drawings and shop drawingsLayout, fit, tack, and assemble components accuratelyMaintain strict quality standards and dimensional tolerancesOperate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipmentInspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standardsWork independently with minimal supervisionAssist in training and mentoring junior welders when requiredQualifications

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Junior Production Coordinator to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a key role in coordinating production, purchasing, inventory, and scheduling.
Working closely with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production, you will help ensure projects move efficiently from engineering through fabrication and shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
Create and issue manufacturing work orders.Review project documentation prior to releasing jobs to production.Coordinate the release of work orders based on production priorities.Track the status of jobs throughout the manufacturing process.Maintain accurate production records and documentation.Purchasing & Inventory
Purchase raw materials, hardware, and production supplies.Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as required.Issue materials to production work orders.Coordinate deliveries with suppliers to maintain production schedules.Assist with inventory counts and material reconciliation.Scheduling
Assist with daily and weekly production scheduling.Coordinate priorities between Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.Monitor production timelines and communicate schedule updates.Help ensure customer delivery dates are achieved.Administrative Support
Maintain ERP system accuracy by updating work orders, material transactions, and purchasing information.Prepare production reports and scheduling updates.Communicate with internal departments regarding project status.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations team.Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, purchasing, inventory control, or a related field is preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.Experience with ERP/MRP software is an asset.Construction or manufacturing experience is considered an advantage.Preferred Experience

ROLE OVERVIEW
With welders in mind as their “customer”, this role is responsible for providing quality cut orders for welders to piece together products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive orders from Shop Supervisor or Cutting Lead
Read and understand both order (blueprints, sketches or product specifications) and drawings before cutting; conduct weld preparation if necessary.
Obtains and transfers stock to machine, manually
Measures and marks dimensions and reference lines on material extrusions.
Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets
Sets up and operates fabrication, cutting machines, ensuring breaks, rolls, shears, flame cutter and drill presses are in working order.
Cut and prepare product according to order.
Inform Lead Hand of errors; with approval form Lead, see Order Entry to confirm error (who will change order if applicable)
Keep material organized and proper identification of stock
Wear appropriate safety gear at all times (e.g. safety glasses, mask, earplugs, steel-toe footwear, etc.)
Maintains a safe and clean work space without risk to health.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related or delegated duties as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Ability to stand for most of the day

Ability to read orders/drawings and standard and metric tape measure
Ability to operate machines and equipment safely
Basic math comprehension
Must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team
Experience in manufacturing or construction.
Reliable and punctual to work every day
Willingness to work overtime on short notice and as required.
Willingness and ability to learn machines and equipment and operate them safely.
Willingness to use protective clothing and equipment at all times
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship

2 – 3 years’ fabrication shop experience
Familiarity with shop practices
Experience with hand tools and stationary tools such as grinders, band saws, belt sanders, drill press, chop saws, etc. etc.
Basic English but excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of all products
Previous installation and/or construction experience
