Position Summary
Rabe Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled and reliable Jetting Technician to perform high-pressure water jetting and drain/sewer cleaning services for residential and commercial customers. This role is responsible for clearing blockages, cleaning sewer and drain lines, and diagnosing pipe issues using hydro-jetting equipment and camera inspection tools. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean, thorough work, communicates professionally with customers, and operates equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities
Operate high-pressure hydro-jetting equipment to clear grease, roots, scale, sludge, and debris from sewer and drain linesDiagnose blockages and pipe conditions using sewer/drain camera inspection equipmentLocate line breaks, bellies, root intrusions, and other defects and document findingsClear and clean residential and commercial drain lines, main sewer lines, and lateralsSet up and break down equipment safely at each job site, including managing water supply and containmentPerform routine maintenance jetting for commercial accounts (restaurants, grease lines, etc.)Communicate clearly with customers about the problem found, work performed, and recommended follow-upComplete accurate work orders, invoices, and inspection reports (including video/photo documentation)Maintain jetting trailers/trucks, hoses, nozzles, and related equipment in clean, working conditionFollow all safety procedures and company protocols, including proper PPE useCoordinate with plumbers and dispatch on repairs beyond the scope of cleaningQualifications
Required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to safely operate high-pressure jetting equipment (or willingness to be trained)Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skillsReliable, punctual, and professional with customersPhysically able to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle equipment in varied weather and conditionsAble to pass a background check and drug screeningPreferred
1+ years of experience in drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, or sewer/pipe workExperience with sewer camera inspection and line locatingFamiliarity with residential and commercial plumbing systemsCDL (or willingness to obtain, depending on vehicle/trailer requirements)Physical Requirements

About the Role
Rabe Plumbing and Heating is seeking a licensed Master Plumber to join our team. As our most senior technical plumber, you'll handle complex residential and commercial installations, service, and repairs, mentor junior plumbers and apprentices, and help uphold the standard of quality and reliability our customers count on. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in doing the job right.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply, drainage, gas, and heating-related plumbingRead and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications; ensure all work meets local, state, and national plumbing codesPull permits and coordinate inspections as requiredLead, train, and mentor apprentice and journeyman plumbers on the jobTroubleshoot difficult service calls and provide solutions the crew can rely onProvide accurate estimates for time, materials, and costMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and vehicleDeliver professional, courteous service and represent Rabe well in every customer interactionOn-Call Requirement
This position participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide emergency plumbing service to our customers outside of normal business hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-call rotation is shared fairly among qualified team members, and additional compensation is provided for on-call and emergency work.
